the BOV is releasing so much pressure during the burnout its forcing air out of the hood and you can see the smoke being pushed away, that is pretty cool.
yeah you really need a 3 bar 52pph injector setup to run 18psi safely in these cars
ouch you put it outa comission lol major ouch i guess lol hopefully ill have mine up and runnign soon still has to pass a canadian safty maybe i should show you hows its done eh jokes i usualy run a 06 mustang low 7's dont have a camcorder other wise i would post vids hahah have fun dont burn your engine out to fast eh
@2734576 It probably wasnt lying. The EGTs probably got up there a little too high and toasted them. You definately need a wideband when you're upping the boost to 18+. Suprised it wasnt #4, that cylinder usually has a hotter core temp.
horrible launch man.

14.8? Gary Donovan ran 13.6 with 18psi and 3" Exhaust. 3100ib car too. Obviously that wasn't a very fair race...in regards to power output.

@Eddo22 Gary Donovan has been racing all of his life.

Yeh you can't trust narrow bands.I have one in my shadow but I'm only running 14psi so I'm not to worried about it.Good luck with the rebuild!

You need to break into the 13's!What mods are done to it?
xxATTAMxx 3 years ago
plus 20s, 3'' exhaust, k&n, srt-4 intercooler, 50000 volt coil and 18 psi of boost. the car is out of commission cause i melted the #1 piston ohwell

Were you running a wideband?
xxATTAMxx 3 years ago

What do you do when you launched? Sounds like you let off or short shifted. 18psi should be good for mid 13's... with slicks of course.
Eddo22 3 years ago
well the car has a wheel hop problem so i had to let of a little early, and i was not running slicks.
