I think that other than Coppola's daughter, this was an outstanding film. Now I say this objectively, not comparatively with respect to the Godfather I and II.

@Danielpinov They had to go through 3 or 4 people before finally deciding to have Coppola's daughter play Mary, so basically she was a last resort. It wasn't that she was first chosen for the part. They initially wanted Julia Roberts to play the part, but unfortunately she had other obligations.

I love The Godfather Part 3. I cannot believe the criticism it recieves from deluded people. I think The Godfather saga should be looked at as one big movie which makes Part 3 as superior as Parts one and two.
