@fatriff Hi fatriff, yes i am aware of that,i have been using ubuntu for a while now,i started off wid meerkat(with dock) and used it for a pretty long time, but then when i switched over to natty i felt, the unity feature sucked big time, for some reasons,i don want to revert back to older version of ubuntu nor change my distro.phew, pretty long explanation huh,btw which distro do you use mate??
@Videoorchard I did use Mint for years and I tried Ubuntu several times but Mint always was closer to the mark of what I was looking for.. Recently I gave KDE another shot, I wanted to stick with Ubuntu so I installed Kubuntu 11.04 and was very surprised at just how polished this desktop has become as I tried it a few years earlier.. I'm now running 11.10 Kubuntu and I could not be happier, it is perfect, And I used Windows for 16 years so for me to say I am truly happy now is something.

If you need a dock on Unity then you are using the wrong distro.

@Videoorchard Well, using a dock on Unity kind of defeats the idea of Unity.
