Hey, hey.. Not all American metal is bad. Like my band Animula for instance! We play melodic death metal.. Very Norwegian/Finnish influenced... And Canadian actually... Love that band Quo Vadis.

Quo Vadis isn't the only one in canada. Unexpect, Augury, Neuraxis, Descend into nothingness, Kataklysm, Blackguard etc... They all rock and come from Montreal in Canada. But even In USA there's good band out there like Opeth, Dream theater, Suffocation, Morbid angel, Death etc... Some really good stuff.

yea the Quo Vadis scream is looonggg...BUT he doesn't play an instrument and Pekka(kalmah vocalist) plays guitar and has more of a vocal range in terms of death metal low and black metal high. both bands kick ass though! Live Swamp metal!
