Oh my. Here they go trying to climb everything! My mom said of our twins..."what one doesn't think of doing, the other one will!" We survived though. Oh, and the twins did too! ;D
@Myk63 This climbing makes me nervous. He's so little that I'm afraid he's going to get hurt. I'm not the kind of mom that gets all panicky - I did that with my first son and kind of got over it as the next ones came. This climbing thing though is really making me nervous though. He's just a little guy and I really would like him to stay on the floor rather than get on top of high places.
@LindaMRamos They are very busy. It is like they never stop right now. They're very active at the moment. So much for Lyan liking to sit and look at books.
@brandi384 He is quite the little climber right now. I feel like I need to follow him around all the time cause I never know what he's going to try to climb.
Oh my,. I think you def have your hands full now! OH BOY! It's so cute cause they are very quick little monkeys! So cute! wowza, my heart it thumpping just imagining what they could get into,. You are one great mom! They're both so strong too!
Oh my goodness! He's definitely adventurous...you have quite a pair on your hands with one getting a potty seat stuck on his head and the other one climbing everything!
(For the record, I think I'm starting to be able to tell the twins apart. When you focused on Dayn I thought that was Dayn and the climbing one was Lyan...)
@twish1999 It was inappropriate baby behaviour. Babies shouldn't make their mothers worry that they'll fall off of things. None of my other boys were like this. I have to watch Lyan constantly! He tried to go from him highchair to the kitchen counter last night. He wiggles out of his seatbelt even though he make it very tight. He's sneaky!
@IreneK43 Yes, mountain climbing could be in his future. We live on the prairies though so he'd have to travel a few hours to get to some mountains. I am hoping he'll outgrow his daredevil behaviours.
@ScandinavianMom He has discovered a love of climbing and he is determined to climb anything he can! It is like he's creating obstacles for himself now.
@mysteryglo On top of the fridge? Oh boy! I'm expecting to find them on top of their dressers or at least discover they've climbed out of their crib soon.
@cheekychickenhead Loads of climbing action! It just doesn't stop now that they've figured out what they're doing. Dayn is now joining Lyan behind the couch. I think I am going to lose my mind!
My son is 21 months and he's been climbing onto the table too. He thinks it is so hilarious! Sometimes he'll get down if I ask him to, but most of the time he just laughs at me. I don't know what to do to keep him from doing it, either. Hopefully, if I just keep reminding him to get down, he'll eventually get the idea.
@figuringstuff It is a tough stage that's for sure. I considered putting the kitchen chairs on top of the table but it isn't high enough and I know they'll just pull the chairs down on top of themselves. If he's at it again today, I'm thinking I'll put the chairs in another room with a door to eliminate one surface he can get to.
@FunnyHaHa312 Lyan has taken a couple of tumbles but that hasn't stopped him from trying. I just finish comforting him and turn around to find him climbing on something else. Hopefully he'll outgrow it.
@rangatang0624 Oh now Dayn has watched Lyan climb over the couch a couple of times and has decided he'll do it too. He's much slower at it but both of them were back there yesterday. Thankfully he hasn't figured out the table yet.
@BlaineVlog I hear girls have very different personalities than boys. Lyan is my first real climber so I don't know what I'm going to do. I think I am going to store my kitchen chairs in another room during the day or something to minimize it. If put the chairs on the table, they'll just pull them down on themselves. AHH!
@HeyThatsHolly It is like someone turned on a switch and Lyan discovered how to climb. He tried to climb onto their bear riding toy from the front yesterday and flipped over the toy box and tried to climb on top of that as well. He's challenging himself. It's fun to watch but I'm afraid he's going to get hurt.
Wow he is quick too! Oh boy, thats what I have to look forward to. haha

I was like that as a baby. Don't remember what made me stop. I was more clumsy at it, though. So, I probably fell down before getting on something.
