Now about our religious education: 70% of the Germans are Christian therefore to imply that it would celebrate the occult is beyond ridiculous. In fact one of my religion teachers was a woman pastor, you think she would teach such things? Anyway, we were taught about religion in general, about Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism and "sects". The point was and still is to simply educate us. We were not taught that one is better than the other but that YOU choose what to believe in.

Some facts from someone who actually went to school in Germany for 13 years: Our sex education is not pornographic. The video makes it sound like we're shown sex videos or are being taught sex positions. In truth the first lesson I had involved some cutesy story about how Mom and Dad had another baby. And later on we are taught about contraceptives and about reproduction in general (meiosis/mitosis). Basically: sex has consequences and our education system makes sure we know it.

School in germany is different. Children until the age of 15 or 16 are often at home before 1 p.m. (13:00). If you want a cristian education you still have half a day.

Schools provide various classes in religion even 4h/week if you choose to.

Sex education is mandatory, its a human right to know about your body from a neutral perspective and parents cant take this right away from their children like the things deemed as occult, these things are part of german history (brothers grim etc.).

I spent quite a bit of time in Germany this summer, filmed the religious symbols in state-owned places, talked to the people, etc. They have much more religious freedom than in North America or UK. I don't think I have heard of anyone being arrested for "preaching the bible" in Europe. I might have missed that story though.

In the U.K. the state religion is Protestantism so I find it a bit rough to believe they would arrest people for preaching the bible when it's state sanctions a form of Christianity.

To be frank, some parts of the bible say it's O.K. to kill non-virgins like Deut. 22:13-21, In my book that's a no-no. If a person was arrested for preaching that, good.

Because the persons in the video are what I would call "Isolationist".

Isolationism breeds racism, when you teach people to accept others differences then you stave off the chance of that happening, not always but the practice works most of the time.

Hi I live UK and have watched the rise of the right across most of Europe and it is something to be concerned about.

The BNP for their part gained over a million votes and gained two Euro MPs. In the former Yougoslavian republics, Nationalism and Racism are on the increase. This is happening across the West as a whole.
