You'll find the same in many top pro musicians - the stuff they play could be quite simple, but so many people lack a good feel and don't seem to grasp the music. i was wondering I play on my dads 1981 Tama Superstar DL shellkit, and i want to change the color. would make a difference if i painted over the original coat or i should i sand down the original coat. and if i sand it down does it affect the tone of the shells.
