ahh well u did better than me when i tried to fly a heli for the first time. by then i had been flying fixed wing models for allmost a year, helis juat diddnt take my fancy
Well, could have been the backrotor. I know that reaction is quiet common, from my own experience too. :-) Try next time to go up a little, it's nowhere more safty than in the air with a helicopter. Sounds funny, but its the truth.
BTW, you don't need that hula hoop anymore. You are controlling your chopper quiet well.
Well, I'm not really sure, it took me by surprise, but it didn't hit the bushes. What I think happened is that the back rotor hit the ground from an angle, while I was trying to back away, when at the same time it dropped very fast, perhaps due to changes in wind (and the weight of the hula hoop).
I'll get new spare parts today though, so hopefully it will be up flying again really soon.
I like the Airwolf music!! Classic!

Looks to me like you lost something in flight, and it caused your heli to flip out.

It looked very nice and trimmed well. What the hell happened at the very end? Thanks for posting it, good luck in your future r/c projects.

What was that ?? Were the blades not tighten up enough? Or did you hit the bushes there in the back?
