absolutely brilliant...dude, you remind me of stan brakhage's films but in a beautiful kinda way...not kitsch, more like a delicate dance between portraits plus youre into brian eno which is amazing, thanks, i'm totally adding this to my favs
How did you do the photography? Did you place a camera on the exactly same spot to take pictures for almost an entire year? That would have been a lot off work.
I actually held the camera and lined it up the best I could. I figured out a better way for the next time. It was fun and I enjoyed all of the percs - seeing wildlife and taking in the atmospheres that changed daily.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you may check out some of the other timelapse from the same area.
This song really shows Eno's influence on music---Joy Division's "New Dawn Fades" seems to be an homage to this tune, and it is readily apparent that Moby's treatment of "New Dawn Fades" as used on Michael Mann's film "Heat" owes ALL to the trail blazed by Eno. Thanks for posting a great tune. Peace:)
You encourage me! I am currently working on a different concept, however I will be creating another time lapse next as I still have a few more sites in the park that I photographed.
I think this video is astonishingly creative and rather beautiful. It does remind me of the putrification sequence in 'A Zed and Two Noughts' by Peter Greenaway, but that's as much due to the title of 'Sombre Reptiles' as anything else.
I think the voice is his imagenation is diverse and refreshing.Just think when this came out most people were listing to madona or sammy hagar!BLAHHHHHHHHHHHICK
Surreal!!! WOW!!! How many shots did this take to create!! Amazing!! Even tho I have never been stoned, I agree with "boltonjack"---this is true art!! Thanks for the experience! I have also responded with a video--check it out above!
Oh, btw, great video! Beautiful colours and the song really fits. (Actually, I enjoy every video of yours)
I can't believe i live 100 ft. from this tree and never noticed how beautiful it is. Of course, I have taken pictures of my kids on it from time to time, but have never seen it like this! Well done.
Good work. The effects in your vid deepened the mood created by the music - wish you'd continued through the next track. AGW is one of the best records ever.
