Arctic circle is not certain spot in the map, it is _circle_ going around the northern part of earth at 66 degrees from equator, so it is in fact going through Sweden, Finland, Russia, U.S, Canada AND Norway :)

Don't forget...for six months in the winter, there is total darkness. No sunlight at all!

Yeah, but only at the north pole. ;) In Sweden we can see the sun, even on the darkest day. Then the sun is up between 10 am and 2 pm I think.

Amazing!
Here in Brazil the days in summer begins at 5:30-6:00 a.m. and the sun goes at about 7:15-7:45.
Imagine having the whole day of sun. That'd be a crazy experience.

I amazed that there is still a lot of plant growth at a latitude high enough to have a midnight sun.
