YOU CAN'T EXPLAIN AWAY THAT THIS WORD CALLED THE TRINITY WHICH MEANS 3 IS NO WHERE IN THE BIBLE. U CAN'T HUMANIZE THE CREATOR ,GIVE HIM WEAKNESSES, KILL HIM, AND MAKE HIM INTO AN IDOL OF WORSHIP WITH YOUR GOLD, SILVER AND PAINT BRUSHES. THEN CALL IT GOD. IF ONLY THE CHRISTIANS WOULD WORSHIP AND CALL ON GOD ALONE WITHOUT JOINING OTHERS WITH HIM. THEN WOULD THEY TRULY BE REAL FOLLOWERS JESUS. INSTEAD IN TRUTH AND UNKNOWINGLY THEY FOLLOW THE MAN NAME PAUL. I LOVE THEM BUT JESUS ISN'T GOD AT ALL
Not a lot happened at Nicea. Therefor, it makes it very easy for us to read about the events and discussion that occured there. There is no mention of a cannon of the New Testament. There is no mention of elevating Jesus to a Divine nature. The main topic was to declair (not vote on) Arianism being heritical. WIthout trying to argue, your "facts" of a vote at Nicea come solely from The Divince Code. 300 years before Nicea, people were declairing Jesus was God.
around 1:32 you mentioned "some titles that aren't used anymore". Bishops, Patriarch, Exarch, Great Patriarch are all titles at Nicea that are still used today.
At 1:20 you talk about a "thing that is not even hinted at in the Bible". I'm guessing you are talking about the Divinity of Christ (part of the Trinity). Colossians 1:15 says "Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created ...". That was written 240 years before nicea.
I see the Trinity as 3 minds being 1. In other words 3 eyes being 1 mind. Which is possible. But the question is, does this then mean when Jesus came to Earth, he was he removed from this 'Trinity'...?
In revelation Jesus was told to be created, G-d can not be created he is the creator
Jesus is also called your Brother, God is not my Brother he is my father.
I know I great site that answers all the verses you put at him I will send you the link in a private message, what ever the sites says you don't have to believe and you can continue in thinking God is Jesus there is no harm done for we are saved by Grace praise Yah.
Jesus Christ is represented by the sacred writers to be as distinct a being from God the Father as one man is distinct from another. “It is written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. I am one who bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me” (John 8:17 and 18).
wow!! i NEVER witnessed such ignorance....oh boy....never even hinted at in the bible? Ok, CPXB..u watched 6, 3 min u tube vids, prob watched a few A&E bible specials..of course zeitgeist....but that doesn’t make you a bible scholar....try reading a few verses from the actual source....the word atheist, or monotheism are not found in the text either, but the concepts are clearly "hinted" at.....i suspect ur jus like other "smart" people, who just hate anything God & the reality of Him.
I didn't get why the Trinity was necessary to control the empire. What was magic about using the Trinity? If nothing else it caused division, not unity--if that was Constantine's purpose. This doesn't seem like a very strong argument.
According to Job 38:7, the angels were present at creation. I have always wondered if they too were created in the image of God because in most biblical accounts, angels appeared as men. ( Jn. 19:12).
Throw all the books behind you away, ask God to show you in the Bible. Our own understanding is what clouds us from the truth... Vomit the blue pill swallow the red.
The concept of Trinity came from ancient Kemet(Egypt) God Osirius,Goddess Aset and Son Horus. The Roman got this concept form Africa when the conquer Egypt in 31 BCE.The Bishops in the Council of Nicea could not deal with a Aset, a woman being a God.They replaced her with Ghost or Spirit. The Kemetians, the original conceptors say God the Father,God the Mother and God the Son which was balance in both humanity and spiritulity.
it's not possible to ask where the trinity came from because the trinity is made up of Father, Son and Holy Spirit and God has no beginning, He did not come from anywhere. He is eternally self existent.
True,Athanasius a bishop, from the School of Origen, where Neo-Plato-ism was encouraged. He presented the "schools views" on the divinity of Christ at the counsel of Nicea 325 CE. Arias teaching was supported, then later rejected, because of Athanasius prominence & position in Alexandria & sea port interruptions. The trinity was not an official teaching of 1st century Christians, neither should it be today.
AND THE BOOK IS DELIVERED TO HIM THAT IS NOT LEARNED, SAYING, READ THIS I PRAY THEE: AND HE SAITH, I AM NOT LEARNED." (Isaiah 29:12). It may be noted that,he was absolutely unlettered and unlearned, and illiterate who never read a word in his life. No human had ever taught him a word. His teacher was his Creator! the Koran is confirming the messages that came before. It recounts in detail stories, and teachings of the early prophets. Islam holds all the TRUE PROPHETS IN HIGH REGARD!
yeah, right. the quran discredits all "prophets of God", saying God is too impotent to preserve "His" words. There is nothing holy about the quran, it is a document promoting murder, vengeance, oppression and violence. if you weren't brainwashed, you would see this, but you fear your brother will kill you if you abandon islam.
and let me assure all you sound minded people. Great nation doesn't mean a lot of oil, wealth, and huge population in the sight of God. God is obviously reffering to people who will UPHOLD IS COVENANT,and be rightous and faithful nation. DID THAT PROPHECEY COME TO PASS??? INDEED!!!
"I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren,
like unto thee,
and I will put my words in his mouth;
and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him." Deut.18:18.
yewt...Gen.21vs.17 And God heard the voice of the boy, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and said to her,"What troubles you, Hagar? Fear not, for God has heard the voice of the boy where he is. 18 Up! Lift up the boy, and hold him fast with your hand, for I will make him into a great nation."God is clearly saying he is going to make Ismael(people of) into a GREAT NATION!
this prophecy is unfulfilled, unless you count a brief existence of a small ishmaelite nation in distant antiquity. Arabs are not ishmaelites. Arabs existed long before Ishmael and he has disappeared into them.
not correct ,Ismael has abig tribes, many of arabs today can track their fathers back to Ismael, and they are so many, Quraish is one of them, and now there is so many arabs close to 400-300 millions
sunni, if there were a million arabs alive when ishmael started injecting his genes into the arab population then Arabs are only 1/1,000,000th ishmaelite, because the Arab ancestors contributed genes as well.
sunni, u r amazingly stupid! did ishmael kill off all the other arabs so that only his genes survived? of course not! When he had children, their genes were 1/2 his & 1/2 their mother's. the next generation the genes were 1/4 his & 3/4 other people's genes. then the genes were 1/8 his & 7/8 other people's genes. unless of course, his genes killed everyone else's genes! LOL!!! U moslems r so stupid!! BTW, most DNA comes from mothers bcuz mitochondrial DNA is only passed from the ova, dumbass.
wallhi the stupid one is that talks about genes as he was talking about cake, you know nothing about math or genes or the arab's ancestry, and how the, genes got anything to do with what have you said,if they are his children thats it case closed.
sunni, when i said you were stupid, i proved it. your statement is nothing put opinion without basis. if you say the arabs are ishmael's descendants you are denigrating all the other ancestors the arabs come from (the vast majority). Your argument is good for one thing only, to say that everyone is descended from Adam & therefore brothers & sisters. But in Adam's case, there was no one else, Eve's genes came from Adam. & Ishmael was nothing, just a slave's son, with murder in his eyes.
Islam is the only true monothestic religion in the world. It's faith is totaly devout to god. And not a single letter has been changed in the Koran in over 1600 years. It is sad to see people being so confused. God gave us a law to follow and abide by, and throughout history, as a test people deviated, and it was neccessary for us to be guided.
God isn't interested in worship, he is interested in developing thinking, decent people who don't swallow the stories of every schizophrenic "prophet" who comes along and tells you to bring violence to the world and claims to be peaceful.
mohammed not only revised it in his own time but others revised the quran during its first century. and islam has only been around for 1400 years, not 1600 years, and what horrible years they have been for dhimmis and women.
Both Moses & Jesus received earlier revelations and divine scripture consistent with the original message from the Prophet Abraham. However, these original divine scriptures were corrupted over time through mistranslation and editing. Koran was sent from god to guid us all back to the Abrahams religion.
that's mohammed's claim but mohammed has nothing to prove his outlandish claim. his actual intent is to discredit all of the "prophets of God". my, my, isn't that what the devil wants? if islam is true, then God is too impotent to preserve his words, and puny compared to the power of satan! therefore, followers of mohammed actually believe in the superiority of satan. what deluded fools!
The guy in the video is confusing the Council of Nicaea and the Council of Chalcedon.
The divinity of Jesus was not a question at Nicaea, but what that divinity comprised, was an issue. Of course, the heresy of Arius was an issue over the nature of Christ, but not exclusively.
At Chalcedon the issue of Jesus as True God and True Man was debated vs Nestorian views, Monophysitism etc.
Everything you've said in this video is HISTORICAL FACT. The trinity, started way back in Egypt and Babylon with multiple trinities and triads, was reinvigorated by apostate "christianity" in the 4th century C.E. There is no mention of trinity in scripture, neither the ancient Jews nor 1st-century Christians taught or believed it, Jesus neither believed in trinity nor claimed he was God, and there was no thought of trinity for several centuries after Christ. Good job!!!! Outstanding.
jesus in several places in the New Testament allows people to worship him, yet when he is tempted by the devil, he clearly states that only God can be worshiped. Thus, he demonstrates that he believes he is God.
Incorrect. People do not worship Jesus, they do obeisance to him, which is the same deep respect given to a king or other dignitary. Jesus himself taught that only Jehovah God is to be worshiped.
sorry, you are incorrect. the words used are forms of "proskyneo". in Matt 4:9, satan is quoted "peson proskynisis moi" (and never says "latreueis"). Jesus in his reply therefore, equates proskynisis with latreia. (the same in luke's account.) Notice especially John 4:23 where only proskynesis is used.
Yep. And one of the definitions of that Greek word are "to bow low before". There's no connotation of worship. JEHOVAH GOD is the one to be worshiped, the same One Jesus himself worshiped!!
But the point of the video is trinity, where it came from, etc. It was not part of the doctrine of 1st-century Christians, and was incorporated centuries later by apostate christendom. Study history, leave Satan alone.
Yes, the trinity is pagan doctrine and not part of the Bible, even though catholic scribes tried to rewrite the scriptures to include trinitarian statements.
You didn't read the text. Satan only asked him to bow down, Jesus equated that with worship in his reaction. Check the statements that are made. Here is a paraphrase: Satan says, "bow down to me". Jesus replies, "that would mean that I was worshipping you and only God is to be worshipped."
no. "Jehovah" is not english for the tetragrammaton. "jehovah" is a concocted word formed by taking the four hebrew consonants that form the name and adding the vowels from a different word. why take vowels from a different word?--insanity?--hubris?--blasphemy?--perverted thought? The name is not to be used in vain (as per the commandment). that's why words like "God" and "Lord" are used instead.
My comment below was a response to another comment, not the video. It got misplaced. Sorry.
I agree with the video, but the Trinity concept is very ancient in pagan religion. Constantine created a hybrid of Christianiy with Roman paganism so the Roman people would not have to change their beliefs much.
You are wrong. The Bible never uses the word "Trinity" and never refers to God as "Three in one", "One in thee", nor as a "Society of three persons". It never says "Jesus is God". That is straigt from paganism. You worship the Egyptian Trinity and tack a description of Jesus onto it. You have something wonderful to discover.
Correct! Changed Jesus name baptism to father, son, holyghost, then the Roman emperor became holy father. the definers of trinity then killed 60,000,000 people in the next 2000 years.
Constantine was no Christian and the trinity is in the word of God,you are probably a jehovah witness which started with Origen in alexandria. If the trinity isn't true then explain Isa 43:10 11 and Isa 44:6 Jehovah makes it clear there is only one God right? now let's visit what jesus said in rev 22:13 and now v16 confirms that Jesus is talking, there are numerous verses to back the triune God,if you are a Jw don't you think you have deceived enough people.
@MuslimByChoice Koran also states that Jesus did not die on the cross (surah 4:157). the fact of the crucifixion is undisputed among historians, the Koran is wrong
Michael Servetus followed the views held by the early apostles who belonged to the Antiochene school of Christianity, and he supervised the printing of a Bible in 1540. Servetus corresponded with Calvin for more than twenty years. As a result of bitter conflict, Calvin had him arrested in Milan, and after a quick trial Servetus was burned to the stakes. Servetus is regarded by many as the "founder of modern Unitarianism."
Issac Newton and myself and all those whom the church had burned at the stake, agree with you... that Christianity went astray in the 4th century AD, when the first Council of Nicaea propounded erroneous doctrines of the nature of Christ.
you are right own target sir the trinity is man made, tertullian sufferred from scitzerfrania and was not a christian but a debater of philosp crap GOD is one as taught from the beginning to the end the great i am covers everything in between
@CPXB nice dodge to the guys honest refutation of ur video. the trinity wasn't invented at nicea, tertullian dealt with the issue a full century before your video claims
Basically all you have said is that you have thought about this and that regarding regarding the trinity and Constantine told the Council to "get it right" and they guessed and the Trinity resulted. Like so many on You Tube, you pass along a thoughtless unsupported blurb as intelligent discourse and move on. Now, please answer the question of Mohammed and pedophelia.
The 1st Council of Nicaea was designed to answer the nature of god because of the Arian Heresy, and was politically motivated to keep peace in the Empire. See:
Rubenstein, Richard E., When Jesus Became God: The Epic Fight Over Christ's Divinity in the Last Days of Rome, 2003, or,
Tanner S.J., Norman P., "The Councils of the Church: A Short History", 2001
C'mon; you cannot claim that God doesn't exist as fact, that is ludacris; just as I cannot give you a logical reason that he does exist. To say Jesus was a Fucktard is a Fucktard statement. Get over yourself! You present half truths and twist them into your own reality. I'll be the first to admit that the RCC is historically corrupt and misleading, but they certainly do NOT represent Christianity to me. You have Religions and Faith all mixed up man.
The word "Trinity" is not mentioned in the Bible, more than likely it came from the Church of Rome. Remember the RC has some truth in it along with poisons, the Devil hides in the meat! satan is a great deceiver! Most Churches accept the "Trinity" as the way to describe the "Godhead" as written in 1 john 5 vs 7. "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one". (1 John 5 vs 7) Anyone who denies this is of the Devil.
Not religious, no, and the Trinity isn't nonsense because it's religious but because it makes no real sense (indeed, Christians were fighting bloodily over the subject for a long time because it made no real sense). The proceedings of the development of the Trinity are of historical record.
could you kind of direct me to where the info is from. I've heard what you've said before - but only hear say. Great job though - thanks for your work. Jesus is good to know...you should maybe think about reaching out to him. Take care
Jesus is a hypocritical fucktard condemning people to hell for not kissing his ass. As to the historical view of the Council of Nicea, any librarian will be able to show you the history section at your local library.
Oh, so when a father tells his son murder is wrong, and he goes and does it anyways, sending him to jail is wrong? The father would still love the child, but he would have to do right thing.
Jail is not Hell. In jail they won't burn you alive for eternity. Not asking god for forgivness isn't murder. It harms no one. The punishment is evil, and the crime nonexistent.
And if a human ruler said to bow down and love him or be slowly tortured to death, he'd be a monstrous tyrant and when he was overthrown the whole world would think it justice. So to with your god. His "choice" is monstrous. Good thing he doesn't exist!
Human ruler. That is a fallacy, because he is human like us. God, by definition, is not human. And what do you mean by "monstrous?" It doesn't follow that he doesn't exist.
You stand to gain eternal life or you go to hell. On the scale of things, it isn't monstrous, because you have been warned by the Bible. To us, it seems grim.
Saying it's true is childish. Why don't you use some intellect and actually show reasons why?
Ah, the old fashioned religious intimidation! Believe or DIE! It seems grim to me, too, just in a different way. Spare me your crude attempts at fearmongering.
There are no gods because there is both no proof of the existence of a specific god and robust alternate hypotheses for everything religion speaks about.
It isn't intimidation, in fact, I was showing you what it is, because your sense of it seems dull. But the reason you believe it is grim is because you say there is no proof. So, what is your theory on why we are here?
I'm a pretty standard scientific materialist, unsurprisingly.
And saying "obey or be tortured forever" *is* intimidation. The essence of any good intimidation is that the threat is real. If I say, "Obey or be punched in the mouth" it's intimidation because I am capable of going through with it. Indeed, the intimidation would probably work on me if I had any proof that Hell existed.
I explained, actually. There are alternate explanations for the existence of, well, everything that directly contradict religious cosmological explanations. ONE of the explanations is wrong, and it isn't the scientific one, therefore there is no god.
Well, we're not talking the "little ice age". And no climatologist doubts that there was a period of cooling after the medieval optimum. They merely disagree how cold it got. But that's irrelevant. Science's very nature posits the non-existence of god; it PRESUMES that the world has no supernatural origins.
Scientists also differ on what caused the little ice age. And for the world having no supernatural origins ,science is not able to prove. Can ONLY be presumptuous.
"robust alternate hypotheses".. I take it you mean elegant mathematical equations? String theory? Multiverses?
FYI, "there are no gods" is a silly comment for an intelligent person to make, don't you think? "We don't know" would be more accurate. You would have to be.. well, a "god" to know that, yes?
sigh.. CP, these arguments are ooolllldddd. People have debated the "why would God do this if he was good" type stuff for centuries, and the answers you need are googleable, solid, and...ooollllldddd.
Dead issue. God is God. If you believe HE created YOU, then you submit to his rules. If you are arrogant and proud and think you're hot shit, then you use your sarcastic intellect to "disprove" God's existence.
Old and still unanswered. The reason they're still asked is because there isn't any good answer for teleological questions.
But my initial point, about our brains, is that you use YOUR brain to be religious. You can't not trust your brain. You trust your judgement with the same surety that I trust mine. I've moved on to epistemology from teleology, here. ;)
jews dont belive in hell. the word the greek word that use for tornment. In revelation is basani'zo. Which tornment is it second meaning. It primary meaning is to test (metals) by the touch stone. Beside death and hades get thown into the lake of fire. Which are not liveing. How can you torture something not liveing
hell: 3 Greek words (hades, tartaros, and gehenna) used for three different things, sadly translators misguidedly use the word "hell" for all of these quite different things. hades is the equivalent of the hebrew sheol and means death (it is the pit--the grave--into which we all metaphorically go). tartaros is where the angels that sinned went (compare the greek myth of the titans). gehenna mean valley of hinnom, the garbage dump of jerusalem, symbolic of 2Peter 3:10-12--the "lake" of fire.
again, google "can't love someone and send them to hell", or something like that, and you'll get your answer. Come on, man. You're tossing around *ALL* the stereotypical quotes that ever come up in a debate about this shit; do some research! Or are you baiting people?
Then do I have good news for you!! What apostate christendom has portrayed as a pit of eternal torment, for all these centuries, is nothing more in the Bible than mankind's common grave!!! The word "hellfire" does not appear in scripture, hell is just, as I said the common place where ALL the unresurrected dead are---even Jesus was in hell for 3 days or parts thereof! The good news is, if you look to God's Word, he does not torment people, but wants ALL...EVERYONE....to gain life-the REAL life.
The Bible's hope for those in hell is a chance to gain eternal life in paradise on earth under God's rule!! Think about it: If you're a parent, and your child commits some infraction of a family rule, are you going to hold your child's hand in the fire for ANY LENGTH OF TIME? NO! That would be insane!! Here's another thing: You, being a historian, might be familiar with an old English phrase. In years past, when people had dirt cellars they would do something called...[cont.]...
...called "helling" potatoes. And just what did "helling potatoes" mean for them? Did they bake or roast their potatoes over an open fire then? NO! That term "helling" (from the original word "hell") meant that they were putting their potatoes under the dirt/earth in their cellars, to be kept safe for future use!! The same principle goes for those in the Bible's hell! All of those dead that christendom would like to "blast to hellfire" are just resting in a temporary state of non-existence...
...and they feel neither pain nor pleasure and are awaiting the general resurrection at the proper time, until the One that will awaken them from their long "sleep" to life on earth: A REAL PARADISE IS COMING!! Hellfire, as you can see by now, is just a man-made, blasphemous, non-scriptural God-dishonoring dogma!! It's not to be found in God's Word. The lake of fire in the book of revelation is not hellfire either. It refers to Gehenna, a garbage pit that used to be just outside...
...Jerusalem that was used to put dead bodies in, used for criminals and others who were considered unfit for proper burial. They NEVER....NEVER....put living people, or "souls" there!!! So Gehenna, or the lake of fire, is just a figurative term for those who, being considered by God the Judge as unfit to live in that future paradise, are sentenced to a destruction that is eternal. But once they're destroyed, even THEY feel nothing anymore. They are eternally dead, destroyed, NOT tormented!
Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness,"
God refers to himself plurally.
But this can be seen through out the Bible each member of the trinity all showing the characteristics of God, feelings, personality, All powerful, all knowing ect.
If you google carm , that website has a nice grid with explination :)
The meeting they had was not to discuss Jesus(Yeshua's) divinity that was well exstablished with the early first Christians, the meeting was about 3 in one,not at anytime did they rebuke or deny the divinity claim.
Great point. The Arian Controversy didn't end until 381 CE with the Council of Constantinople. Constantine flip-flopped a bit on this issue afterwards it seems.
And Arianism didn't stop until . . . the 8th century was when the last of the Germanic Arian kingdoms had been conquered or converted to Nicene Christianity.
Actually, the whole bit about Constantine is accepted by historians. I presented the standard historical view of Constantine's actions and motivations, as well as the standard historical view of the Council of Nicea. By education, I am a historian and philosopher.
Uh, no, you're wrong. While the characters of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are literally gospel, the concept of the three-is-one divine indwelling in three separate entities is from Nicea, a construct of, if I recall, Athanasius and Arius.
But that is not the same as the three-in-one concept that was invented at Nicea. Tertullian and Sabellius argued that Father, Son and Holy Spirit were different names for the same thing. The Holy Trinity in Nicea was saying that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit were DIFFERENT and THE SAME.
The trinity kills me. Especially the Jesus bit, he was all man, but at the same time, all god.
Before he was born tho' where was he? and in what form? coz after the resurrection we are taught that he BODILY ascended into heaven and exists in his human form in heaven. There is a real flesh and blood guy in heaven. Does he sweat? secrete? salivate? get goose bumps? eat? drink? pis and shit? ejaculate? what form does this real life body take? does it age? WTF?
Constantine even moved the capitol of the Empire which was Rome to the city of Constantinople which caused a division between the churches. The leaders of the Rome church felt like they were better than the leaders of the Constantinople church.
have you studied the history behind the nicean council? where in the creed does it even use the word Trinity?

If Jesus was God then he could not die, God is Immortal and can not feel pain, he invented the pain.
Therefore Jesus could not die on the cross because he is immortal unable to die.
Umm... words from Jesus
“Why callest thou me Good? There is none good but one, that is God” (Matt. 19:17).

The thing I dont understand CPXB is- why cant people see this?
The very basis of Christianity is that Jesus had to DIE for the forgiveness of sins.
Trinitarians teach that Jesus cannot die because he is an IMMORTAL GOD.
The very fact that he DIED tells us he was MORTAL.
Thankyou for you simple yet FACTUAL explanation.
To the critics - Go and do the historical research yourself before you make up your mind.
Its all there just as CPXB explained.

Why do most Trinitarians baptize and say "in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost" when no one was baptized with this being said in the Bible?
Do you think perhaps the Apostles could have misunderstood Jesus?

so basically trinity is made up from roman churches...it not the true way to follow...its a man made religon
GypsyGirlLola 2 years ago
The concept of Trinity came from ancient Kemet(Egypt) God Osirius,Goddess Aset and Son Horus. The Roman got this concept form Africa when the conquer Egypt in 31 BCE.The Bishops in the Council of Nicea could not deal with a Aset, a woman being a God.They replaced her with Ghost or Spirit. The Kemetians, the original conceptors say God the Father,God the Mother and God the Son which was balance in both humanity and spiritulity.
itepu22 2 years ago
it's not possible to ask where the trinity came from because the trinity is made up of Father, Son and Holy Spirit and God has no beginning, He did not come from anywhere. He is eternally self existent.
parakeethands 3 years ago

Islam holds all the TRUE PROPHETS IN HIGH REGARD!
macaveli2525 3 years ago
yeah, right. the quran discredits all "prophets of God", saying God is too impotent to preserve "His" words. There is nothing holy about the quran, it is a document promoting murder, vengeance, oppression and violence. if you weren't brainwashed, you would see this, but you fear your brother will kill you if you abandon islam.

Lift up the boy, and hold him fast with your hand, for I will make him into a great nation."God is clearly saying he is going to make Ismael(people of) into a GREAT NATION!
macaveli2525 3 years ago
this prophecy is unfulfilled, unless you count a brief existence of a small ishmaelite nation in distant antiquity. Arabs are not ishmaelites. Arabs existed long before Ishmael and he has disappeared into them.
yewt 3 years ago
not correct ,Ismael has abig tribes, many of arabs today can track their fathers back to Ismael, and they are so many, Quraish is one of them, and now there is so many arabs close to 400-300 millions
sunniHussayni 2 years ago
sunni, if there were a million arabs alive when ishmael started injecting his genes into the arab population then Arabs are only 1/1,000,000th ishmaelite, because the Arab ancestors contributed genes as well.
yewt 2 years ago
what a theory, apparently, you understand in genes as much you understand in math.
sunniHussayni 2 years ago
sunni, u r amazingly stupid! did ishmael kill off all the other arabs so that only his genes survived? of course not! BTW, most DNA comes from mothers bcuz mitochondrial DNA is only passed from the ova, dumbass.
yewt 2 years ago
wallhi the stupid one is that talks about genes as he was talking about cake, you know nothing about math or genes or the arab's ancestry, and how the, genes got anything to do with what have you said,if they are his children thats it case closed.
sunniHussayni 2 years ago
sunni, when i said you were stupid, i proved it. your statement is nothing put opinion without basis. if you say the arabs are ishmael's descendants you are denigrating all the other ancestors the arabs come from (the vast majority).

God gave us a law to follow and abide by, and throughout history, as a test people deviated, and it was neccessary for us to be guided.
macaveli2525 3 years ago

Koran was sent from god to guid us all back to the Abrahams religion.
macaveli2525 3 years ago
that's mohammed's claim but mohammed has nothing to prove his outlandish claim. his actual intent is to discredit all of the "prophets of God". my, my, isn't that what the devil wants? if islam is true, then God is too impotent to preserve his words, and puny compared to the power of satan! therefore, followers of mohammed actually believe in the superiority of satan. what deluded fools!

Marymary73 3 years ago
Everything you've said in this video is HISTORICAL FACT. The trinity, started way back in Egypt and Babylon with multiple trinities and triads, was reinvigorated by apostate "christianity" in the 4th century C.E. There is no mention of trinity in scripture, neither the ancient Jews nor 1st-century Christians taught or believed it, Jesus neither believed in trinity nor claimed he was God, and there was no thought of trinity for several centuries after Christ. Good job!!!! Outstanding.
JWinCT 3 years ago 2
jesus in several places in the New Testament allows people to worship him, yet when he is tempted by the devil, he clearly states that only God can be worshiped. Thus, he demonstrates that he believes he is God.
yewt 3 years ago
Incorrect. People do not worship Jesus, they do obeisance to him, which is the same deep respect given to a king or other dignitary. Jesus himself taught that only Jehovah God is to be worshiped.
JWinCT 3 years ago
sorry, you are incorrect. the words used are forms of "proskyneo". in Matt 4:9, satan is quoted "peson proskynisis moi" (and never says "latreueis"). Jesus in his reply therefore, equates proskynisis with latreia. (the same in luke's account.) Notice especially John 4:23 where only proskynesis is used.
yewt 3 years ago
Yep. And one of the definitions of that Greek word are "to bow low before". There's no connotation of worship. JEHOVAH GOD is the one to be worshiped, the same One Jesus himself worshiped!!
JWinCT 3 years ago
But the point of the video is trinity, where it came from, etc. It was not part of the doctrine of 1st-century Christians, and was incorporated centuries later by apostate christendom. Study history, leave Satan alone.
JWinCT 3 years ago
Yes, the trinity is pagan doctrine and not part of the Bible, even though catholic scribes tried to rewrite the scriptures to include trinitarian statements.
yewt 3 years ago

Constantine created a hybrid of Christianiy with Roman paganism so the Roman people would not have to change their beliefs much.
mtnman2012 4 years ago 2
You are wrong. The Bible never uses the word "Trinity" and never refers to God as "Three in one", "One in thee", nor as a "Society of three persons". It never says "Jesus is God". That is straigt from paganism. You worship the Egyptian Trinity and tack a description of Jesus onto it. You have something wonderful to discover.
mtnman2012 4 years ago 2
Correct! Changed Jesus name baptism to father, son, holyghost, then the Roman emperor became holy father. the definers of trinity then killed 60,000,000 people in the next 2000 years.
kleb707 4 years ago 2
Constantine was no Christian and the trinity is in the word of God,you are probably a jehovah witness which started with Origen in alexandria. If the trinity isn't true then explain Isa 43:10 11 and Isa 44:6 Jehovah makes it clear there is only one God right? now let's visit what jesus said in rev 22:13 and now v16 confirms that Jesus is talking, there are numerous verses to back the triune God,if you are a Jw don't you think you have deceived enough people.

Amygdala100 4 years ago

The 1st Council of Nicaea was designed to answer the nature of god because of the Arian Heresy, and was politically motivated to keep peace in the Empire. See:

C'mon; you cannot claim that God doesn't exist as fact, that is ludacris; just as I cannot give you a logical reason that he does exist. To say Jesus was a Fucktard is a Fucktard statement. I'll be the first to admit that the RCC is historically corrupt and misleading, but they certainly do NOT represent Christianity to me. You have Religions and Faith all mixed up man.
thecosmichippo 4 years ago

The proceedings of the development of the Trinity are of historical record.

highaerials36 4 years ago
Because you can't love someone AND send them to Hell.
CPXB 4 years ago
Oh, so when a father tells his son murder is wrong, and he goes and does it anyways, sending him to jail is wrong? The father would still love the child, but he would have to do right thing.
highaerials36 4 years ago
Jail is not Hell. In jail they won't burn you alive for eternity. Not asking god for forgivness isn't murder. It harms no one. The punishment is evil, and the crime nonexistent.
CPXB 4 years ago
But it is still an offense to God. He gives you the choice to accept or reject Him. It does harm Him, for by definition you are His creation.
highaerials36 4 years ago
And if a human ruler said to bow down and love him or be slowly tortured to death, he'd be a monstrous tyrant and when he was overthrown the whole world would think it justice. So to with your god. His "choice" is monstrous. Good thing he doesn't exist!
CPXB 4 years ago
Human ruler. That is a fallacy, because he is human like us. God, by definition, is not human. And what do you mean by "monstrous?" It doesn't follow that he doesn't exist.
highaerials36 4 years ago
Monstrous as in "punishing" people in a cruel and horrific way for a "crime" that hurts no one. Monstrous like Adolph Hitler. That kind of monster.
No, it doesn't follow that god doesn't exist, it's just true that your god doesn't exist. ;)
CPXB 4 years ago
You stand to gain eternal life or you go to hell. On the scale of things, it isn't monstrous, because you have been warned by the Bible. To us, it seems grim.
Saying it's true is childish. Why don't you use some intellect and actually show reasons why?
highaerials36 4 years ago
Ah, the old fashioned religious intimidation! Believe or DIE! It seems grim to me, too, just in a different way. Spare me your crude attempts at fearmongering.
There are no gods because there is both no proof of the existence of a specific god and robust alternate hypotheses for everything religion speaks about.
CPXB 4 years ago
It isn't intimidation, in fact, I was showing you what it is, because your sense of it seems dull. But the reason you believe it is grim is because you say there is no proof. So, what is your theory on why we are here?
highaerials36 4 years ago
I'm a pretty standard scientific materialist, unsurprisingly.
And saying "obey or be tortured forever" *is* intimidation. The essence of any good intimidation is that the threat is real. If I say, "Obey or be punched in the mouth" it's intimidation because I am capable of going through with it. Indeed, the intimidation would probably work on me if I had any proof that Hell existed.
CPXB 4 years ago
How can you say you are scientific? You are not scientific at all when you say that there is no God for you have no proof for such a statement.
prrolg 4 years ago
I explained, actually. There are alternate explanations for the existence of, well, everything that directly contradict religious cosmological explanations. ONE of the explanations is wrong, and it isn't the scientific one, therefore there is no god.
CPXB 4 years ago
You forgot something.Scientists disagree even oh the theory of the little ice age. "therefore there is no God" Not in science or democracy.
prrolg 4 years ago
Well, we're not talking the "little ice age". And no climatologist doubts that there was a period of cooling after the medieval optimum. They merely disagree how cold it got. But that's irrelevant. Science's very nature posits the non-existence of god; it PRESUMES that the world has no supernatural origins.
CPXB 4 years ago
Scientists also differ on what caused the little ice age. And for the world having no supernatural origins ,science is not able to prove. Can ONLY be presumptuous.
prrolg 4 years ago
"robust alternate hypotheses".. I take it you mean elegant mathematical equations? String theory? Multiverses?
FYI, "there are no gods" is a silly comment for an intelligent person to make, don't you think? "We don't know" would be more accurate. You would have to be.. well, a "god" to know that, yes?
You trust your brain too much.

psalm222 3 years ago
hell: 3 Greek words (hades, tartaros, and gehenna) used for three different things, sadly translators misguidedly use the word "hell" for all of these quite different things. hades is the equivalent of the hebrew sheol and means death (it is the pit--the grave--into which we all metaphorically go). tartaros is where the angels that sinned went (compare the greek myth of the titans). gehenna mean valley of hinnom, the garbage dump of jerusalem, symbolic of 2Peter 3:10-12--the "lake" of fire.

Babyloff 4 years ago
Then do I have good news for you!! What apostate christendom has portrayed as a pit of eternal torment, for all these centuries, is nothing more in the Bible than mankind's common grave!!! The word "hellfire" does not appear in scripture, hell is just, as I said the common place where ALL the unresurrected dead are---even Jesus was in hell for 3 days or parts thereof! The good news is, if you look to God's Word, he does not torment people, but wants ALL...EVERYONE....to gain life-the REAL life.
JWinCT 3 years ago
The Bible's hope for those in hell is a chance to gain eternal life in paradise on earth under God's rule!! Think about it: If you're a parent, and your child commits some infraction of a family rule, are you going to hold your child's hand in the fire for ANY LENGTH OF TIME? NO! That would be insane!! Here's another thing: You, being a historian, might be familiar with an old English phrase. In years past, when people had dirt cellars they would do something called...[cont.]...
JWinCT 3 years ago
...called "helling" potatoes.
JWinCT 3 years ago 2
...and they feel neither pain nor pleasure and are awaiting the general resurrection at the proper time, until the One that will awaken them from their long "sleep" to life on earth: A REAL PARADISE IS COMING!!
JWinCT 3 years ago
...Jerusalem that was used to put dead bodies in, used for criminals and others who were considered unfit for proper burial.
JWinCT 3 years ago 2
The Trinity is see all through the Bible.
even as early as Genesis 1:26
Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness,"
God refers to himself plurally.
But this can be seen through out the Bible each member of the trinity all showing the characteristics of God, feelings, personality, All powerful, all knowing ect.
If you google carm , that website has a nice grid with explination :)
