In the 50's, Many of TV (and also radio) shows-Were shown in Prime Time-Assuming you are watching at the network time, Its figured that most stores closed by 6-9PM ET..Hence, the suggestion to "Buy some tomorrow"
the package changed so much wish i had a flux capacitor and a buck to buy 20 packs of gum but since its from the 50's theres probobly traces of radiactive isotopes in there
Todays commercials should tell you why you are getting a special offer. Whenever I see a commercial with a special offer, I keep thinking "They're running out of revenue and are clinging to sponsorship."
"Free of extra cost" meant, "A FREE package of Dentyne is inside these specially marked packages of Cheerios". Apparently, American Chicle {the makers of Dentyne at the time} wanted kids to try their gum outside regular "points of sale" {candy stores, drugstores, supermarkets, etc.}, and thought a tie-in with General Mills would help. In 1961, a free "sample" envelope of Nestle's strawberry-flavored Quik was packed in boxes of Cheerios for a limited time....
he shoudve said get a package tommorow...today

Wow, cereal and gum go together sooooo well. You might think that if you pay for cereal, you'd get some free milk or something.
