Kool, i don't have a wii yet. So far i have a 360 and a PS3, i need the Wii to complete this Gens systems. Anywhere i could buy a cheap wii? besides Amazon and eBay?

if ya notice at the start of the video i have little rubbermaid containers and made little notes in each one so when i went to put it back together i knew where they went . hope this helps

Let me ask you a question. I dismantled mine and there is a black, plastic.. Its mesh and looks like it might be some sort of filter. I am not sure where it goes. Can you help?

sure , its the screen for the fan . it snaps on the inside of the case where the fan vent is. hope this helps and good luck!

mod chip that lets you play back ups. You can google it and see al the options and chips out there . Nat theres good ones and bad ones and easy ones and hard ones to install.

i've never had that problem but i'd think that you could . might wanna research it some around the net before pop'n it open tho to be safe . i only had mine open this one time and its been awhile so i'm not positive . sorry i could'nt be of more help , good luck.

have'nt had that problem with mine . did you check for shorts or try replace'em? i've only had my wii open this one time to chip it . i have'nt had any problems at all with mine . sorry i can't be more of help . Yeah shroom rocks! Seem'em about 7 times . \m/ (..) \m/ met half of the band , they are kewl and nice to fans! X)

i have never taken apart a laptop before so i'm not sure . one thing to keep in mind is to organize your screws like it did , helps alot . Otherwise i did'nt have any problems taking it apart . This was the 1st time taking apart the wii for me . Thats why this is a 2 parter video . The pain in the ass was installing the chip . Small solder points and pin legs you gotta wire to .

kewl the music is MushroomHead. check my reply below you might wanna give that pad a try , just a thought. outa the consoles i've modded this has been the hardest by far and you gotta have some skills or luck to get those damn wires on those tiny ass legs. It took me 2 differant times/tries to get mine done and it was only 3 wires to the legs thank god. 2 was beside each other and the other one was 5 leggs away. i soldered one to the top of one leg and the other to the bottom of the next leg.

yea, i recomend people dont go near the d2pro chip,too complex. they are bringing out a less wire version. i have the 19 wire version. i may phone the website i bought it off as i asked them which one was best and i was recommended this one. it is a real feat too fit. i now have heard of the wiip which is a moulding that slots ove with the wires coming off so you cn attach your chip to it. a awsome gadget i think. if its not wiip then its some thing close, i saw it recently on you tube.

thanks for doing a video, it helped, unfortuneatly i think i may have damaged mine. i bought the d2pro . i couldnt believe how hard ir was to solder the wires to the chip. it was like balancing a egg on the underside of a spoon. as the pin and the wire would shift constantly. i have lost part of one leg off a chip from solderring and desolderring. i t took 1 hour 20 mins to put 1 wire on and i cannot do 9 of them as they are in sucession of each other.

new console too. as we say in UK, gutted

damn that sux dude , i used a wasabi chip in mine . it has 9 wires to solder to a d2c wii . 3 of the wires go to the chip , i feel for ya man . i was think'n about go'n with the chip you got till i saw all the wires . i did run into this little pad they have out now where you solder the chip to it and then just pop it on/over the ic chip on the board kinda makes it solderless connection and less work to the board . might wanna give that a try . yeah the solder'n the wires to the pin is a bitch!
