  • blue lips, william trubridge does it without fins, but nitsch is still one of the best and ive met him 2 weeks ago

  • haha, that laugh in the end when he's showing "im ok" sign... so relaxed... sheesh!

  • A great accomplishment. Notice to all that he is with a buddy. Learn about shallow water black out before doing shit like this. Know before you go. Good job!

  • Bolas de titanio

  • It is wonderful, very nice and relaxing video

    Congratulations for your dive!!

  • wow great my friend!respekt!but no time to chill in the blue hole;)

  • In other cases I would say this guy has huge balls, but saying that he has 3 seems more accurate.

  • AIDA ratify courses all over the world..... We (NoTanx) have clubs and courses in London.

Always learn the safety protocols before diving.

    Never dive alone.

  • hey i was wondering how would you train for free diving. Im on my highschool swim team and we do underwater cycles and i was wondering if that helps?

  • krass...herbert hats drauf, aber voll 5*

  • no, he was the world record holder, diving down 120m and back in April this year (has since been broken by someone else) 60m down 25 across and 60 back up must be just play for him.

  • Nitsch*

  • I understand why you would think that 'cause anyone who's not into freediving would think this is beyond human capability (or something like that), and yes it's a very hard thing to do but there are some ppl who's swum through the arch and Herbert Nisch is one of them. So this isn't fake ^^

  • what is the tube he has in its mouth?

probably something very common, but I am a novice freediver with nobody to learn from but from the internet.

  • It's a tube so that he can put air in is mask. With a SCUBA mask you don't have that problem cause your nose is in the mask. It,s a smaller volume mask then a SCUBA mask, you don't need as much air to fill it good for free diving.

  • I noticed the goggles are aqua sphere (I use it for triathlons). can you purchase these goggles with the tube inside or do you need to custom-make them?

  • Damn that would be so difficult, at that pressure I probably wouldn't last 40 seconds.

  • A truly amazing feat, marred slightly by the the use of such shit music

  • Well I guess from that you can make better music than me?

If so feel free to post it as a video response.

    :o)

  • i like this song hella who is it

  • It is me and a couple of friends ... we called ourselves Plantpot. Maybe I should try to get it on ITunes!

  • @Tusker1970 ......... owned.

  • DCS is the buildup of nitrogen in your body from breathing compressed air. FREEDIVERS DONT GET THAT SORRY

  • Wtf is NCS and DCS is it really that hard to say those few letters?

  • Incredible!!

  • good bye Brain Cells !

  • Eeeeerr no there is no evidence of any loss of brain cells due to freediving. Conversely using the NTStyle of diving, the brain is saturated with MORE oxygen during the dive.

  • alright, i give up, please tell me the name and artist of this song.

  • The Band is Plantpot... AKA Andy and MIG from NoTanx.

  • impressive, nerves of steel and total self confidence

  • Is the water that cold you need a wetsuit Trubridge didnt use a wetsuit, nice dive man love the color in the water.....I dive here in baja with my whale shark friends.

  • ho ly shit. amazing. i dont understand how decompression sickness doesnt affect you at 60ft? you came up pretty fast.

  • Decompression sickness is only an issue if you have been breathing compressed gas. These divers aren't breathing underwater so DCS is not a problem for them.

  • no mate, DCS can also affect free-divers, but only if they repeatedly diving at great depth (e.g: 40m+) with short recovery times in between. There are tables (though not really official) to use for deep free-diving (similar to those in scuba)

  • thats interesting I didn;t know that. I'm just a scuba diver... not "free" :)

  • I don't know much about diving but isn't scuba DCS something to do with nitrogen build up in the blood compared to CO2 build up from deep free diving?

  • 60meters is almost 200 feet deep. One meter is almost 40inches, a bit more than a yard. That's deep.

  • DA BENDS

  • woooow

  • Wish I had that guys lungs, the water vis is awesome I can see how people could descend to fast.

  • Watch our kiwi boy William Trubridge dive the Blue Hole wearing speedoes and goggles and thats it, no fins or wetsuit, way more impressive!

  • youre right.....

  • i wanna see the person go dive by himself, no buddies!

  • This guy did... he is the camera man.

  • Did he just drop his nose pecie?

  • cuidado com tubarão menino

  • Why are there so many people dying in this particular area? What's the reason? I mean is there something wrong with the area?

  • It is a deep spot. I'l yhink that the passage of the tunnel is the problem

  • It's because the shape of the hole makes it hard to track how fast you are descending. Plus, the depth of the hole is deceiving... it looks a lot shallower than it really is, so it's really easy to dive down too quickly.

  • great-respect-peace

  • nice job, diving in there is only for the highly qualified divers, free diving must be killing...

  • I think that place should be banned...yuri died there

  • not only yuri.

  • They knew they could have died, people should have the right to endanger themselves if they want. They're big boys and girls.

  • holy shit... amazing!

  • Amazing, he didn't even have to gulp for air after finishing.

That takes years of training, I couldn't hold my breath for more than a minute even if I tried, nice one!

  • nice!

Glad to see he had a buddy waiting for him in case of shallow water blackout. Im scared of that sh!t

  • yeah..it's very bad...the music I mean..."would you let me in?"...haha

  • That tune's totally unfitting

  • Which blue hole is this?

  • Dahab, of course.

  • 60m...thats amazing

  • whats the name of the song?

  • my hero

  • how can he sing a that depth

  • Very Cool!!

  • wonderful dive... respect !

  • this guy is something else...

  • So many scuba divers have died going to The Arch and this man does it without air:O Well just amazing

  • It helps to not need decompression, but yes; still amazing.

  • Absolutely awe inspiring

  • what are those white 'lines' that seems to shoot out of the arch at around 01:25? Are they something physical or just a compression artifact?

  • didnt like the music but how could it get lower than 5/5?? its a freediving video!!

  • Loved it.

  • güzel
