the beaufighter has more firepower so you can cut tanks and planes to ribbons but it is soooooo slow... i use the mosquito

@Jackie68450 i've used the SB2A before, and the speed and guns sucked. i use the Mosquito, it's fast, manuverable, and carries the same payload as the Beaufighter

@smily1600 i've actually completed the mission twice w/ the B-25, and sometimes, i even use it as a dive bomber and that includes the 3 ships you bomb

on the last level (Berlin 1945) which plane would u recomend cause i'm having trouble flying level with the water to not be seen.

There are several planes that work, but I personally prefer using the FW 190 D9... but make sure you upgrade it in the standalone mode.

i use the mosquito every time i play this mission. it may have less firepower than the beaufighter, but it's faster and more manverable, and i think both planes have the same payload

@12andrewrules i believe you get when you beat Rabaul, and also, when you do Top Secret, don't use the Fw 190, use the N1K, its manuverability helped me a lot

The twin mustang is a good plane, but there are better. The twin mustang is fast and has good firepower, but is is not the most agile... it also depends on the mission you are trying to ace. I like the Focke Wulf 190A the best.

i dont know the first plane you said in the description but the beaughter i have and everytime i select the buceaaner or the dauntless i hope this helps me bus is good

The Buccaneer and the Dauntless are good planes but the Beaufigher has the BEST fire power of all of them.

This mission must have be added specifically for the Wii right?  On the PC version after the Guadalcanal mission you go strait to the Rabul mission. :(

Great observation... I don't have the PC version, so I can not comment... but that is good to know.

I have the PC version and was pretty disappointed with it. It's pretty much a bad port. Not only does it appear to be missing at least one mission there is a serious lack of joystick support and it tends to crash sometimes. I think im gonna have to break down and buy a console because it seems allot of otherwise good games are getting crappy PC ports lately.

Yes, there is a cockpit mode. I like to see the whole plane because you can see more area, the cockpit mode limits your visibility a little. I will be sure to include a vid of the cockpit mode next time I post a Blazing Video.

This guy is got to be playing easy B*tch mode, as when I play this level, I have enemies on my tail ALL THE TIME, and if I stay to kill all the enemies for 172 the tanks die.

Actually there is no easy mode... try unlocking the most powerful planes and guns and then try reading through the detailed descriptions for more insight into how to complete this mission.. just keep trying and you will get it soon.

I know cheats on how to unlock all missions and planes, God mode, and increased damage on enemies, -Unlock All--- Hold minus and plus, left, right on control pad, then , 1, 2, 1, 2, 1. -God mode--- Go to pause menu then hold minus and press 1, 2, 1, 2. - Damage increase--- go to pause menu, hold minus, press 2, 1, 1, 2. Hope it helps! good luck!! and god mode helps after Joe dies in D-Day/Normandy.

Try finishing this mission with a B-25( Acquired after the bombing campaign) If you manage to finish the anti-bomber part with it, you are a brilliant pilot.

If you unlock a plane in the mini-campaign missions, it is permanently in your collection, like the P-51 and the Spitfire.

Thats a pretty good deal, I got mine last year for 30 bucks... amazon has it on sale for 19.59 right now. That is a really good deal for this game...
