  • Great job. I love watching pit mixes show off their smarts. I also have a pit mix that does a lot of tricks

  • we have a dog,too

  • LOL - great stuff

    !

  • Nice job you two!

  • I happen to have a pit mix. They are so sweet and I love them. Judge the deed not the breed!

  • I can't seem to teach my dog tricks other than the typical sit, shake a paw, and lay. I think if someone experienced was teaching him he might but hes not very smart so its difficult

  • @littleripper312 lol - he's probably far smarter than you think. the trick is to engage him. the more you make him think, the smarter he will get and the more you make it pay off, the more he will attempt. communication is the key - if what you're doing isn't working, do something else.

  • Oh please oh please tell me how to teach my dog to bounce!!

  • @LilyMay2105 Check out my video entitled "Putting a Dog's Unwanted Behavior on Stimulus Control (to get Rid of it)-Jumping"

  • @supernaturalbc2009 Thanks so much!! I cant wait to get started!!

  • @LilyMay2105

Making a dog jump will lead to leg problems in the future!

  • @BobbyTMF Actually, that has a lot to do with age and size. Where having a massive dog jump over and over again may agitate joint problems, having a medium size or small size dog jump will not. Believe it or not, animals can jump.

  • @ImFlareonBitch

well yes, but no need to be sarcastic! And Domestic dogs arnt made to be jumping up and down all the time! I can also jump but that dosnt mean if i keep jumping all the time it wont lead to leg problems!

  • @BobbyTMF First off, it's joint problems that can occur from applying too much strain over long periods of time - the legs are not going to be hurt unless the dog breaks them. Second off, once again, that has a lot to do with weight. Where you weigh in excess of 100 pounds, this dog doesn't weigh more than 40. Just like lighter animals can fall further without facing injury, lighter animals can jump more without harming their joints. Do you know of any studies that prove what you say?

  • @BobbyTMF dogs aren't ppl - if it hurts, they don't do it. my dog loves me to death but if he's not happy with what we're doing, it ain't gonna happen, no way, no how.
