  • Fun Fact: Parts of the movie's musical score is the original Swan Lake played backwards.

  • ...Don't get me wrong. Portman's performance was amazing and she was the only thing making Nina a believable person. However, that's the problem. Great characters make things happen, they don't just have things happen to them.

    I agree that she's messed up; implied cutter and bulimic, kept into the mentality of a 12-year-old by her mother, borderline seuxally abused by her director,etc. It could be too much but under this director its dazzling.

  • Don't worry, you're getting Mila Kunis' name about right ;) And her character's name is Lily.

    Loved this movie, too. But its not a perfect film; the symbolism becomes beautifully trippy but is a little heavy handed in the beginning (Oooh! Everybody has a reflection/doppelganger!) and the Natalie Portman's Nina is not a strong character. Cont in next comment...
