I would take a MM10 8 bit style over a Halo 4 or Gears of 3 any day. Hell I would take a MM10 8 bit style over a new Mario game. I grew up playing Megaman games since I was 4 years old. Here I am now 18 finally getting my hands on a new 8 bit Megaman game, I'm in heaven.

totally agree with you... When I played Megaman 9 I was floored and taken back to a time when I legitimately enjoyed difficult games. I've gotten into the rut of not having time or patience with difficult games, but Megaman 9 brought me back to my NES days of frustration. Thank god for Capcom... All their shitty Megaman X games (except for the first one) hit a sour note with me, and it got worse with the battle networks/command missions. They've finally redeemed themselves.

Compared to the average video games, post x games were "good," but compared to the bar Megaman 2 for the NES set, they were pretty bad, with the exception for x2 4 and 5, and Network Transmission, (maybe battle network 1 and 3). I still played and beat them because I am a diehard Megaman fan, but like other modern games, Megaman was starting to get soft, and the concepts were starting to get dumb. It was almost as if Capcom was aiming for little kids and not their true fans...

Yeah I will agree with you there... Just to mention one game you forgot though... Megaman X 8 has possibly some of the worst boss battles in the history of the series. I think I fall into an odd camp on the Megaman games as the first one I ever played was Megaman 6, and worked my way backwards. For this reason I actually hold Megaman 6 in much higher regard than it deserves, but I'm also in the odd camp for placing the original Megaman as the best in the series. That game was hard as nails.

Wow...just wow. This is so powerful. That part where it starts going ape shit, throwing out crazy sounding beeps and blops, makes me want to just start head banging lol.

Great tune though. So far I like this one and hornet mans a lot. This should have been in Mega Man 2 or 3 just because of how epic it is. It's pretty close to Wood Man's or Top Man's epicness for crazy fast, rave style, seizure inducing, Mega Man music.
