Despite this deviating the most from Digimon, this was always the most inspiring to me with the concept of them BECOMING Digimon.

@LunykStormdragon they took the idea from the previous season. i think, the only issue, was that biomerge digivolution was radical and accepted by the fanbase. most people loved that the final form of the tamers included both the tamer and the digipartner. this, though, relied on the tamer. the lack of partners, the main component thus far, made this season a bit unappealing.

@JunkWarrior17 Wrong. Data Squad wasn't at all bad. It really doesn't deserve the hate it gets. In fact, if you're a fan of Adventure, you SHOULD somewhat like Data Squad, cuz:

1. Its Main Character Partner Digimon are all homages to the Adventure Digimon

2. It has the most basic Digivolution mechanics ever since Adventure

3. All the Digimon get to Mega on an even level, and everyone even gets a Mode Change

4. Its more teenage-geared, which attracts to ppl who saw Adventure as kids & are grown
