i was wonderin if someone can help me, this is my first smart phone and im having a problem with my contact list, ill save numbers by creating contacts and they are not showing up in my contacts, but they are saved on the phone becuase they will show up on my call log, or caller id with the information i saved them under, will somebody please help me this is really fustrating me,,

Are you sure you are not just showing favourites? Its tabbed at the top of the contacts"menu".

The way I did it was to click on "menu" button on home screen. Menu button is the one next to the arrow curving left, once clicked go to settings on bottom right corner, then scroll to and click accounts & sync. Finally, make sure your Gmail account sync is ON. with the little green circle on.. Also make a gmail account

Facebook sync is really good because once you sync your contacts to it, their images changes on your phone when the people in your contacts change their images on facebook!

is there a field to add a person website under the contact info so when you go to view that contact you can just click the link and go to there page on the net?

Can the phone be turned sideways (landscape) when texting, as most modern phones do? I have not seen a single demo that does this.

I would assume so. It's HTC. The same people they collaborated with for the G1.

@collin1000 my droid does. i got the keyboard, landscape, and regular. since droid is andriod too then i assume that the N1 does also
