I was in the Marine Corps back in 82 when the economy tanked they had recruiters coming to me left and right telling me doom and gloom how life sucks in the civilian world and wanted me to reup for another 3-4 years and I said no and there answer was putting me on every shit duty until my end of service day came up, well I took 90 days saved up leave and got out, I kept my ACE till the end! "Terminal Leave" HAHAHa My commander was pissed. They do this to everyone!

@James1toknow I was in The Army from 79 to 82 and stationed in Garlstadt, Germany 1st of the 14th Field Artillery and at Ft. Bliss, TX, I forget what unit it was, was only there 8 months, while in Germany I drove a Fire Support Officer for like 18 months. I was a Forward Observer. And when it was close to the end of my term I went to see how much reenlistment would get me and I would have reuped if they if it wasn't for Regan cutting over 180 MOS's (I don't remember the exact number).
