  • Saakashvilli is a slut of USA. Everybody know this. Georgeans is country of Saakashvillies. kazakhstan will beat them

  • Fought bravely? they shit their pants and ran back home, dropping their weapons on the side of the road at first sight of the Russians.

  • This guy is a puppet of NATO.. He was trianed in the USA to stirr up trouble for Russia..

  • FUCK RUSSIA AND RED ARMY !!!

  • fat cunt!!

  • Georgia is tipped for success! Saakashvili despite few mistakes is a great leader, who performed miracles in Georgia through many reforms.

  • @alexanderwotl Saakashvili is a pupet to the west. He is also a murderer who attacked South osseta killing thousands then had the nerve to lie on western television blaming Russia when Georgia attacked first. Shame on this guy, Georgian leaders nature to murder and kill the innocent like this guy and Stalin.

  • @kwamezuv1984 Tell those fairy tales to Medvedev and Putin. And compare Putin to Stalin, please.

  • @kwamezuv1984 hahaha.. you are joking right? Georgia killed thousands? LOL oh i think you should really recheck what FSB fed you with maybe it's millions, maybe we killed MILLIONs of ossetians? just so that next time not to raise the number again... you are so pathetic, at least name 1 source that proves that Georgia has killed 1000 people in ossetia, I bet on million you can never give us at least 1 authorative source which would say that 1000 ossetians died at all.. so stop that bulshit!

  • @alexanderwotl HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA,SURE!!! He just can't help himself. NEWSFLASH : he made you,Georgians, look like a murderers. The world knows who started the war,you can check the lists on yahoo q/a. We know SUCKASHWILLY started the war and then got his ass kicked. So stop trying......its over. Putin = THE MAN, suckashwilly = BITCH.

    - The end -

  • @AngelsWingsINFanatis don't pretend here to know anything of Georgia, it's conflicts or the WORld, if you have some shit to say at least say it with ur name, as for the world no other country but imperialist Russia has recognized so called "independence" of Georgian region, that fact alone shows how much influence or support Russia has..

  • @AngelsWingsINFanatis And war has been planted organized and influenced by alcoholic Russians idiot, no matter would it be Saakashvili in government or other those bastards can't stand seeing ex-soviet countries independent. So don't adress ur bullshit to us Georgians we definitly know what type of country RUSSIA is and its ambitious little Dwarf PUTIN, fucking Murderer.

  • Saakashvili is a great leader of one of the most ancient European country. The truth cannot be ignored and Georgia will come out as a winner from this conflict.

  • If u guys read the EU report FULLY, not just the first sentence, you'll see that the war was inevitable, as the whole Russian millitary was mobilized just kilometers away from the capital, Georgians had to take action so they indeed attacked first. But it is really funny when some of the Russians blame the war on GEORGIAN LAND, where Russia was fighting Georgians on the Georgian side. It's just to rich !

  • Love the ending Picturing Putin with so cold - Hm - "Leaders" - LOL again

  • lets eat a tie...

  • are brilliant and share normal western values, but majority are so brainwashed and so fucked up....

  • Why the majority of russians are so brainwashed, that instead of going on streets protesting against their clown putin, they go out of their ways to defend stalin, putin, lenin, and other bastards for all the brutalities they committed? Why human life has such a low value in russian society? What's wrong with them? I am georgian and we lived side by side with them for so many years, but i can;t really find common language with most of russians. sure i have many russian friends and they

  • @dchechelashvili

russians are not more or less brainwashed than any western nation, lol. is there a reason why i should believe the western propaganda more than russian? btw, read the eu report about this conflict, lol, the most what this clown says here turned out as a lie. expecially that russians attacked first.

  • well, when you have 2 people and both are saying something, and you know that one of them is lying, if you cannot tell, you look at their reputation right? If one is a constant liar, who has a history of never telling truth, and trying to screw you up all the time, it should be no brainer who to trust, right?

  • @dchechelashvili it's called national pride, being a part of a nation that actually means something to some people. Many in fact would die or kill for it, as generation after generation prove to be true.

  • correction: it's called fanaticism, and propaganda. the bull that these people are hearing on a daily basis from corrupt government controlled media. And that is going back to Czar times, every single day these guys need to hear they accomplished something, and their nation is great, and if someone points out truth to them, naturally they get upset...

  • @torontosmoker & @urteilssicher

... I mean , ok ... I can understand Your point of view.

It is hard not to protect the honor of the country

    which ''You'' Love.

... But don't You think that Your Gov. is to aggressive ?

Don't You think that it is normaL that peopLe

who aren't Russians don't want to be controLLed

    by Russians ?

  • I only chimed in with my two cents, im not Russian or Goergian but I did lived in Goergia for 5 years and Moscow for 2. It's a sickness that infects all of us. Whatever you call it, national pride, fanaticism, patriotism, it's all boils down to the same point. Each of these countries has dealt with the extreme centuries, that in itself makes the normal different for them because they aren't sheltered by a western government. Although being in a democractic Canada, well the west makes people soft

  • ruskie krasno jopie dovaite skojim chesna mi je kakashki . sasat lubim chleni gruzinov

  • Mudak koncheniy

  • Don`t watch vids with saakashvili..He is sick moron..

  • Саакашвили грязная американская свинья с грязной жопой. Этот пидор должен быть повешен.

  • If American CNN and BBC speak what Russia has attacked Georgia, why then is destroyed Southern Osetia ?

  • First they rape litle chechen girls and know the are trying to kill georgians ...... THE WORLD IS BLIND BUT THE GOD IS NOT........i hope every fucking russian soldier burn in helll.......the will suffer . i will ensure THERE WILL BE REVENGE FOR CHECHEN- INGUSH GENOCIDE

  • Грузины!! когда вы, наконец-то, поймете, что Ваш yankee ставит свои интересы выше интересов своего народа. Поимите, своя рубашка она действительно ближе! Саркашвилю нада вешать

  • eta pravilna 100%

  • You're blind stupid moron !

  • go drink vodka and die russian

  • This Sakashvili is A PIECE OF SHIT...

For him it is okay to send Georgian troops to kill Iraqi people...

BUT it A CRIME if Russia sends its troops to FUCK him in Georgia !!!

    FUCK Georgian soldiers.

  • Why did not he asked saak about his tie-eating??

  • Saakashvili = Suck a willy

  • Saakashvili the best in the world dog at usa

  • This guy's recklessness made George W Bush look good in comparison. And what kind of sitting head of state appear in every friggin' news channel every friggin' day? The visual position of his looked very much like people who had long left the government. He should find a job in Hollywood, this guy is not serious, he probably will be a good promotor or something but he has no business running a country. My sympathy is with people of Georgia.

  • He's incredibly smart and too charismatic. People like that always end up in charge and sometimes it not a good thing.

  • I don't know how smart he is or is not. But he's just like the puppet president of Afghanistan whose popularity and so called "star power" in the US during the Bush administration owed mainly to their ability to speak good English. Kinda irony, Bush was elected cuz he was the man rednecks wanted to have a beer with, these two were favorites of Bush because they could smalltalk with him. All three of them ended up failing their countries.

  • He's a puppet more like Tony Blair was- a subservient ally with shared interests. Georgia is just a lot smaller than England. The Rose Revolution was a good day for the country, but I really do hope he resigns. Putin will crow, but with any luck Medvedev will get serious about acting independently from him.

  • Saakashvili ownz putin ._.

  • Saakashvili is the best president in the world

  • It's a joke?

  • thats the biggest joke in the worls

  • hail mikhail suckervili

    HAIL!

    HAIL!

    HAIL!

  • Вот у Саакашвили ебальник смешной!

  • talking to a georgian ape awesome .....its like sharing thought with a mophadyte

  • fuck this fag

    he is ASS LEEKER

HE LIKES 2give haed 2 USA

  • SAAKASHVILI IS GREAT!!! He had enough courage to defy Russian Empire! That is the primary reason why he is hated so much by the Russian KGB government.

  • Saakashvili is cool!

  • Yeah and he so funy. I'm realy glad that M. Saakashily is a president of georgia and i'm so glad that I live without georgia.

  • im proud what russian did to sakshvilavlielvaleile or watever his name is.. it was a slap in bush's face and his puppets thumbs down i dont give a shit.lol

  • @cyberfalcon2

    ==============

"looks like that went up in smoke just like their 'genocide', and 'ethnic cleansing' myth. Point is, some mythes have SOME truth to them this latest Russian myth was just fabrications to 'justify' an invasion"

    =========

Absolutely! Russian allegations of "genocide" in Ossetia were proven to be false. This episode just shows once again that Russians (their government) can never be trusted.

  • "Absolutely! Russian allegations of "genocide" in Ossetia were proven to be false. This episode just shows once again that Russians (their government) can never be trusted"

It's the big reason why they are so distrusted. If you invade a country under false pretense (yes, I'm ALSO talking about the US -Iraq invasion - I know this will come up LOL ) you should not be surprised world opinion turns against you.

  • You seem not to know much about the conflict. But anyways for you to know, my friends were serving there and they were strictly prohibited from any respond to any provocation whatsoever. But when you are shot in the back it simply makes no sense any more to stop yourself.

I am not sure if Netherlands' troops were dispatched to Iraq or Afghanistan. But if so, why wouldn't you mind your business?)

  • It was actually genocide, bombing civilians I call a genocide, and many many many S.Ossetian homes, well I can say city's, were bombed

  • He banned an independent TV channel, killed a couple of his former friends in politics, cracked down on demonstrations, killed 200 innocent civil people in Ossetia

    ========

Every single word from this post by 10zhk is a lie.

10zhk, you should be ashamed of yourself!

  • Are you sure? You probably don't know Vietnamese language, but it doesn't mean Vietnamese is a lie. You'd better try to investigate on this, not very bright side of mr. Saakashvili.

  • look everybody it's dirty SUCKASSWILLY

  • @SERZHERO look everybody here is one piece of Russian shit!

  • I'm so freaking surprized how deep the brainwashing techniques can go :)))))

  • brainwashing works for people, who are simply incapable of critical thinking. It may sound bizarre, but russians are accustomed to believe everything the government says. russians are very different from western nations in this respect.

  • It is a problem of lack of information sources, not of Russian people. Those Russians who can write more in English, than just "f..k ya all", or at least those who listen to independent Russian sources on the net, have quite critical viewpoints. Have not it occured to you that it might be you Canadians who are brainwashed? I mean I've seen some Russians saying "Putin is being a bad guy in Georgia", but have not seen a single western guy saying "you know we have to admit it, Georgia attacked firs

  • @10zhk

I love the way you changed your line of argument completely! At first, you tried to present yourself as the father of russian nation - you used to say that "we want to control Georgia", "we want to get rid of Saakashvili" etc; but now you're talking about "Those Russians" as if you are not one of them. Your English is certainly too good for a Russian.

    hmmmmmm...

  • I did not mean to look as if I shake hands with mister Pu before meal every day. I just implicated my country (and presently its government) by using "we". Of course, not all Russians are same, neither are all Russian policies necessarily damn right. But responding to killing your citizens and protecting your vital interests seems quite a fair thing to do.

    Many Russians can speak

  • foreign languages, especially young people.

If don't mind could you answer my questions?

  • you can not make facts up so no e can lie and say georgia attacked first....the fact it thst russia started the war

  • When nazi Germany invaded Poland in 1939, Germans also said Poland was the "agressor", and they merely wanted to protect German citizens.

Perhaps Putin is taking lessons from Hitler?..

  • Look, all this stuff would not have happened if Georgians didn't have the weapons which you granted them. A kid is not allowed to play with weapons.

Could you please quit this childish comparison? It is self-evident that both democracy (Georgia) and protection of Russian citizens is secondary here.

  • The decision to start this war was made in Moscow, not Tbilisi. So if Georgia had no army, it would only be easier for Russians. And Mr Saakashvili is right when he says that Georgian troops fought bravely - they inflicted heavy casualties on the forward units of Russian army, the town of Tshinvali had been in Georgian hands until August 11.

BTW almost all the weapons Georgians have are Soviet-made. Read wikipedia - educate yourself.

  • Ok, here you go. How do you know that? Perhaps, you were sitting next to Putin and got it recorded? Do not be simplistic. Such things do not happen simply 'cause somebody decided so.

I do not give any credit to Saakashvili, hence don't listen to him. What I know for sure is that it was Georgia that started a massive attack and that they got phucked up in a while.

Feel sorry for you if you educate yourself on such serious matters from Wiki.

  • I never said I'm getting information from wikipedia alone. I just think that YOU can benefit from reading wikipedia - after all it's a much more reliable source than russian television.

    ========

Such things do not happen simply 'cause somebody decided so

    ========

I find this remark of yours funny :)

  • I use wikipedia from time to time. But I really doubt you ever had a chance to watch Russian TV. )

So why would Saaki attack first, if it was Putin who decided to start the war?

  • What does it make a difference where Gerogia is getting its arms from...Gerogia is a sovereign country and just as any other soverign country it needs to act when attacked...u do not need to cite sources about things that are legal for the last 500 years and everyone knows....anywho it is sad that dictators like Putin are still allowed to act in international arena but as always dictators have numbered days...

  • You didn't answer my question. Russia went to war after Georgia put Tshinvali under heavy artillery fire. And I am proud of our soldiers who protected those poor ossetians. Although let me repeat for Russian Government it wasn't the primary aim.

Ok, one question for you. Do you think assault on Yugoslavia was fair?

  • Sorry dude, I did not see your nickname.

I think you didn't get my point and simply reworded you convictions) Even if we assume that Russian troops crossed the Georgian border first (a thing doubtful by itself, 'cause here we call it OSSETIAN border), what was the need for Gerogian soldiers to smash Tshinvali with its civil population and Russian peace-keepers? Besides they called it restoration of constitutional order, not defence. And only afterwards switched to lame excuses.

  • Assault on yugoslavia by whom? couse Yugoslaia was being burned alive and no one really seemed to care, except Milosevic and his people who seemed to be happy only when they saw the ashes ....unfortunately serbia did this because it had the russian support

  • Ok, name sources then. Otherwise you sound groundless. It is clear for everyone that it was Saakashvili which put Tskhinvali under heavy artillery fire.

  • fucking idiot... misha

  • and start thinkining!

  • I love Ukraine :)

  • No, we want to live in love and peace with this bitchy advocate who has such a good command of English.

If Georgia is not in NATO, we can adequately react to military provocation, including giving refuge to muslim terrorists from Russian territory.

That's what I meant. We have no problems with Central Asia countries whatsoever. Neither we are bullying them. Stop acting stupid and we will not bully you.

  • Saakashvili rapper? loooool!! I didn't notice that.^^

  • Oh yeah we do, man. Please don't be telling me that it was American people who decided to bomb Iraq or to torture poor Arabs at Guantanamo. After all it is government that decides.

To some part you are right, we really cannot elect our president. Also there are lots of things I am not happy about with his policies. But what Putin is doing about Georgia seems adequate to me. Peace.

  • @10zhk

you seem to have missed my point. don't forget that you're just a little man, who likes the policy of russian goverment. but praising the government doesn't make you a part of government^^

you have as much influence on russian policy as I do. So basically, when you use the word "we" while talking about russia's actions in Georgia, you are being plain stupid.

  • I have never said I like the whole policy of Putin. I support him in the part regarding Georgia for the reasons I have listed below. 'Cause I believe it would be a good thing for Russia as a country to control Georgia, than have it controlled by somebody else. It's absolutely appropopriate for me to use the word "we", when talking about my own country. I also do think that what WE did in Chechnya was a crime.

  • Besides, I can elect my mayor, regional parliament, president (although this election has not been fair the last time), national parliament. That is things you cannot do from Canada. Do you still think I have the same influence on Russian policy?

Besides, calling people stupid doesn't make you any honor, dude.

  • His wife and children and his close friends are allready in United States since the begining of the war in Georgia !

He is closed in his bunker with his georgian and European flags in it and with CNN, BBC, Al-Jazeera cammeras 24/7 NON STOP !

He has lost the war with Russia wich he has provoked !

I hope that he will be neutralized as soon as posible !

He has totaly destroyed Georgian people and georgian national ecconomy since 2003 !

HE MUST BE PUNNISHED ON COURT !

  • Could you please be a bit careful with statements like this? It was not Russia that attacked every meek and mild country here and there, killing over 2 millions people throuout last 10 years.

  • that is a lie, his family is in Geo. and speaking of Economy, Russia's economical growth has dropped with 47,8% since Georgia - Russia war.

I'm not a great supporter of Misha, but you dudes have to realize, after war, his power as a president became even stronger that it was.

  • Well, "after" does not mean "because of". At least, it doesn't mean solely, or even mainly because.

Do you mean it has dropped compared to the forecast for the year, or compared to the rate at which it has grown till now (then since which time)?

Wars make nations united. Remember what rating Bush had when starting the war in Iraq? Hom much is it now?

  • A mass murderer and raper !

He has killed moore than 2000 people in just one day !

He has comited genocide in South Ossetia on 08.08.2008 !

HE MUST BE HANGED AND HIS ENTIRE GOVERNMENT !!!

  • SHAME ON YOU David Frost to host this bloody dictator !

  • Don`t wory people !

One day the terrorizing era of SakaStalin will be over...and then we will be friends like we have been before 2003 Sakashvili revolution !

  • Why are there so many negative comments about president Saakashvili?

The man is trying to build a democracy and a free-market economy in his country. I think he deserves our support.

  • because there's too many brainwashed russians, whith easy access to internet. I'm being more and more convinced they should take qualifying test for leaving commets on youtube.

  • Because he threats our national interests. We don't want him because he is trying get NATO on our borders, makes military provocations from time to time, and will let the US to have Nabucco oilpipe in Georgia. We do not want any NATO bases around, 'cause it restrains our possibilities in the region. Simply as it happened before when US-lead bitchy president attacked our troops. We would probably not take risk to fight NATO, if Georgia were in it. Now NATO will not take risk to let Georgia in it

  • so why did your government occupy Georgia when similar agreement was reached in 1921? now that is a big selling point, there is no trust in russia anymore. the kremlin says one, does another... regardless what national interest of Russia are, nobody's gonna give a sh*t about it. Why is world seeking for alternative source of energy? simply because russia can not be trusted, why is world interested in shifting military balance in the region? simply because russia becamse thread...

  • Why do you think we cannot be trusted? What have broken so far?

  • Is not it the democratic USA which did not care about sovereignity of Serbia inspite of the UN regulations? Why did America break PRO conventions all of sudden? Were the promises about NATO non-expansion to the USSR kept? You have a long record of lies, and I do not think we can trust you either.

  • humanitarian interventions do not recognize sovereignty...no dictator and no criminal can be protectded by sovereignty...When NATO intervened in Kosova, ethnic cleansing was taking place, expulsion and mass killings of kosovars was goning on...ethnic cleansing in bosnia went on and international community faield to stop it...if they did not stop it in Kosove god knows where Milosivic and his people would be having their hands right now....

  • You know the difference between Russian action in Georgia and NATO action in Yugoslavia? We didn't bomb bridges with civic people standing on them, we didn't ruin foreign embassies, didn't use cassette bombs.

In the rest we did the same thing as NATO: protected people, those people who have no intention at all to live in the same state with those who came to kill them (Georgians).

So for us any accusation from NATO countries looks hypocritical.

  • You are damn right. What we did was humanitarian intervention against dictator Saakashvili. His good command of English doesn't make him democratic. He banned an independent TV channel, killed a couple of his former friends in politics, cracked down on demonstrations, killed 200 innocent civil people in Ossetia.

  • Sorry 10zhk but most people realize all to well this attack had nothing to do with 'protecting Russian'citizens'but had everything to do with an open attempt to bring Georgia back under Moscow control. Not much 'humanitarion'to find in that.

And, I'm sorry again, but when someone from Putin country starts talking about dictators I can't help but laugh.

I'm sure Saakashvili is no saint (no politician is) but he's largely considered a lot more "democratic" than the man from Moscow.

  • There is no Putin country, there is Russia for you to know,ok ^^ Please tell it had nothing to do with humanitarian to those Ossetians whose sons, brothers, daughters were burned alive under Georgian attack on 8th of August. Tell it to the family of Russian peace-keepers. It is comfortable to be numb from Holland watching CNN.

  • Russia= Putin country. One and the same (: 'etnic cleansing', 'genocide', and now 'burning people alive'... right, the whole old song and dance once again...

I'm sorry but I do not believe a single russian claim anymore, since the 'excuse' they gave for invading georgia turned out to be one gigantic lie.

This whole invasion was planned way ahead and had nothig to do with south osetia. So no, their was nothing humanitarian about it.

  • I.E. you aren't person worth keeping a debate here. You lead argument on the premise "i don't belive a single word of my opponent", "i don't care about people from my opponents' country dying". I won't take trouble to teach you basic moral here. Good luck.

  • Sorry, I do not believe people lying about genocide and etnic cleansing. It kinda makes me very distrustful and skeptic about their real motives (but, I must say, Russia DID make those pretty clear the minute they pushed through to Tblisi)

It's my opinion, and I will not shut up about it. I do not live in Russia.

It's fine by me you want to worship Putin, I, and many with me many, happen to consider him a very dangerous dicatator. Keep him within your borders and things wil be fine

  • Russia simply eliminated the military infrastructure of Georgia, which was a reasonable thing to do. We didn't drop a single bomb on Tbilisi, so keep your false allegations, imagination or whatever to yourself, as you have no proof, but guesses.

  • You have the right to have your own opinion. I think it's ignorant, one-sided, not much grounds under it. But still I respect it.

You must be mistaken - I don't worship Putin, I simply support him in the part about Georgia. Don't be scared we won't touch you.

  • Hey now, "killed 200 innocent civil people in Ossetia"????

Whatever happened to the 2000 figure or was it 1600 or 1400....you know, whatever figure Russia used as an excuse to Invade Georgia?

looks like that went up in smoke just like their 'genocide', and 'ethnic cleansing' myth. Point is, some mythes have SOME truth to them this latest Russian myth was just fabrications to 'justify' an invasion

And Russia wonders why sympathy overwhelmingly lies with Georgia...

  • Hey, how do you come to be so mean? Of course, Russian government was lying about 2000 and stuff. But the number I gave you has been varifyed by international watch groups.

Your sympathy, as well as one of "most" people comes from lack of sources and the image of Russia, generally bad now in the West. Once again, Saakashvili is fluent in English, but not democratic. The scale of his dictatoraship is just smaller, due to the size of his country.

  • yeach well, maybe you think it's 'normal'spreading a lie like that, there are many who consider it criminal to use a lie like that to invade another country

And like I said, I'm sure Saakashvili is no saint ( i can't think of any politician who is) butthe way Russia tries to claim he's a dictator is just laughable (him being elected against Moscow's wishes does not make him a dictator)

Anyway, no saint, I'm sure, but many times more human and democratic than some guy in Moscow i can think of

  • So what? Mr Saakashvili attacked first and killed our peace-keepers and citizens. I am sure Putin had some idea that such an attack would probably happen some day, 'cause he is not a blonde from Beverly Hills. Lying is bad but it doesn't justify open military action of some guy from Georgia.

  • Russia didn't care much for "its citizens" in Chechnya. If fact it labelled the legitimate government of Chechnya as "terrorists", then proceeded to burn the whole country to the ground. Tens of thousands of people were brutally murdered by russian troops. And now they are talking about "their citizens" in Ossetia!

  • I believe what happened in Chechnya was a stupid and a pointless war. But now it is in peace, fat and happy. And Russia takes care of our citizens in Chechnya also, although it will take us a long way to regain the forgiveness of this people.

  • well so what is, that people do not believe a word you say anymore. other than that it gives a rather clear picture on what Russia's true motives were, and that, pretty much, was what turned world opinion against them.

It's not up to some guy in Mosow to decide who is president in another country, least of all of that person came to power through free and democratic elections.

(can't judge about russian elections since observers are not allowed at those... )

  • Previously I told what was primary for the Russian government. But if you ask whether Russia had valid reasons to strike back, so yes we did. Killing peace-keepers of a country makes the country legitimate to interfere.

Once again, Russia is just awful at information wars, but it shouldn't disturb those who are able to see both sides of the coin.

I just wonder do you realize that it was mr. Saakashvili who attacked SO republic?

  • Look. Chechnya- S.Ossetia & Abkhazia. Banning TV channels, cracking down on demonstrations, assisinating people. The only probable difference is that Putin drove out foreign NPO. But in case of Georgia it would mean cutting a financial Feedback.

I don't care what "most" people realize. Give your criteria or sound groundless.

  • No further than 1918 American troops were looting Vladivostok. Do you think we have to drag those previous life facts up to now?

  • Comment removed

  • Besides, we do not want any of your pipes also, as we want to gain control of natural resources all over the region. Let's make it straight it has nothing to do with democracy and sovereignity, it is all about national interests. And hopefully we will chew the nose-poking US and spite it out of the region.

  • the world is exactly about DEMOCRACY, speech freedom, etc. as long as you guys don't understand that, I dont think ppl will have any better living conditions. what kind of benefit does Geo-political control give to a simple factory worker if he knows he might be shot at the dark corner by a drunk cup and will get away with it? what kinda benefit he'd get if he's raped by government in every single hole?..

  • I have to agree with you on this. But having NATO on Russian borders does not make us democratic either.

  • NATO on Russian borders would put extra pressure on Russian government to have good relations with the West, which implies becoming more democratic, more liberal etc.

  • Well, the US has got bases all around China: fleet on Taiwan, military in Korea, Japan and Central Asia. Do you think, China is any more democratic due to this?

Why do you think NATO would put extra pressure on our government exactly to have good relations? And what is good relations, the way you see it? Who guarantees some day NATO won't come up with a demand to make oil cheaper or with some discrimination trade agreement?

  • Bad actor.

  • Mikhail Saakashvili is a north american puppet.

  • LOL

Just listen to the bright comment "sukashvili" makes at 16:12

Man that shows his real intelligence

  • @Maxxed1982

never realised so many russians are living abroad.

  • Is the Russian economy weak? First take a look a yours Mr. Saakashvili. Then think again who's economy is weak.

  • "Is the Russian economy weak? First take a look a yours Mr. Saakashvili. Then think again who's economy is weak"

a GDP growth rate of 7.9% in the 2nd quarter of 2008....Now look at Russia.

hell I wish my country did that well lol

    {your turn again)

  • soha4765

    Georgian GDP: 20,000,000,000

    Georgian population: 4,500,000

    Russsian GDP: 2200,000,000,000

    Russian population 146,000,000

    pro person:

    Georgia 4,444

    Russia 15,000

Next, Georgia has a HUGE military spending (about 6 percent of GDP), and Georgians live in a horrible poverty (Russia spends only 2 percent of GDP for military.).

  • Georgian economy might be weak, but this doesn't explain why Israeli companies poured some $1 billion of inverstments in Georgia lately. Apparently, they expected to get good returns there...

  • B-u-l-l—S-h-i -t, HerrMoppel.

he called a one sided size fire, after which Russian peacekeepers and their Osetian militia friends opened fire on Georgian peacekeepers while Russian tanks sneaked onto Georgian ground through the roki tunnel. It took a while for these facts to come out, but they are slowly emerging now. The world, by now is putting less and less value to the Russia tale of we only invaded Georgia to protect ourcitizens.

  • @soha4765.

do you actually believe you can change his view?

It seems this guy isn't interested in truth at all, he is just translating stupid russian propaganda.

  • I know you're right, ahmadhadji

It's just that people like him just annoy me to no end, so I just have to jump in there and say something, while I should know better.

  • Soha4765

you joined yotube on August 27, 2008.

It looks like you and ahmadhadji are the same person.

Even US-americans realize that they were supporting a criminal regime in Georgia

    watch?v=vIZu-rLLtlY

  • "1691 civilians were killed during Georgian invasion to Ossetia. Shelling of a sleeping town in a GENOCIDE"

You're right, ahmadhadji. A person still holding on to this tale is either a kremlin tool or just too ignorant to open his eyes. Don't know which is worse.

"It looks like you and ahmadhadji are the same person."

Um, you don't have to be the same person to be like minded. You would be amazed how many people feel this way. Connect to the real world and you would know P:

  • soha4765

You suppose the shelling of a sleeping town by heavy artillery is not a genoce, but a "restoration of consitutional order", right? In that case I wish Bush will shell your home, to "bring more freedom and democracy" to soha4765.

  • "You suppose the shelling of a sleeping town by heavy artillery is not a genoce"

You left out the 1600,1800,2100 (heard so many numbers by the Russians don't know which to use anymore. but maybe they got 'confused'themselves as well, since I haven't heard them metion any of it anymore, these last few days :wink) people killed in this "genocide"

But to answer your remark; no that's not "genocide" It's war. People die during it, on both sides, and that IS horrible. But not "genocide"

  • and let us not forget that ossetia is a province of Georgia. how can you possible "invade" your own province?

I suggest you drop this russian propaganda cliche.

  • Saakashvili is a liar!

  • no, he is not! Georgian president is an honest man.

  • @HerrMoppel

How would call Putin, who at first cried of "genocide", but now it turns out there were no more than a hundred civilians killed? and remember we are talking about the very same Putin, who started the war in Chechnia, in which tens of thousands were killed. Is this russian butcher the right person to mr. Saakashvili a war criminal?

I'm not saying Saakashvili is a saint ( after all politics is no place for saint people). But, he has more truth on his side, than Putin does.
