Thanks so much for posting this film of Eli. My son was diagnosed with bilateral talipes at my 20 week scan. I found it difficult to explain to relatives the condition and the ponseti method. In the end I got them to watch this film. It really helped. By the time Jack was born everyone knew what to expect. Hes now 9 months old and is being successfully treated with the ponseti method. His consultant was trained by Dr. Ponseti himself. Thanks again, proud Mum to Jack who has 2 beautiful feet.
Thanks so much for sharing this video. My son was also born with bilateral clubfeet and was successfully treated with the Ponseti Method. I'm assuming Eli was treated with the same - the series of casts & braces look the same.
It's amazing that our kids can do so much in the casts and braces! It hasn't held my son back one bit. He's been running around since he was 11 months old!
I just wanted to let you know that I'm 46 years old and had club feet. I don't remember anything when I was a baby. I do remember the white shoes with a bar.
And the special shoes I wore until age 7. My mother signed me up for gymnastics to help keep my legs and ankles strong.
Thankyou for sharing this video, and the music is so suitable. My daughter is 4 months old and has clubfeet as well. She is currently in boots and bar stage. Eli's video really helped me knowing that the boots and bars certainly 'doesnt slow them down'. Just spent the whole time bawling my eyes out at Eli's video! He is sooo cute, you are so blessed!

He had general. They often use local because it is such a short procedure, but our doctor opted for general to ensure a quick and painless tenotomy.

my son was born with a server clubfoot and 3 toes and they said he wouldn 't walk and at 8 months old he did.
