This movie is superb - I watched a screening of it at the Durban International Film Festival and Oliver Hermanus was in attendance - there was a Q & A session with him afterwards and the added insight into his inspiration and techniques of filming were fascinating. A movie on the effects of beauty and obssession on a repressed individual with repressed desires.

Went to see the movie this morning, what a disgracefull movie!!! I am scarred for life and will continiously be looking over my shoulder wondering what psyco is stalking me. It puts the Afrikaner in such a bad light, not even to say the Gay community. now everybody's gonna think gay men from SA is perverts who go about and rape younger men. It seems like a gay movie made by a bitter woman going through a midlife crisis who was left by her homophobic (yet gay) husband.
