The comparison's between modern players ignore the fact that MJ INVENTED a lot of the moves that these players perform, and not only that MJ almost single handedly spread the 90's NBA phenomena around the world and made the sport what it is today. Even if somebody today is technically "better" than MJ, nobody else has done for basketball what MJ did.
