Okay I'm going to clarify this, most northern iTalians, northern spaniards, and northern portugese, are predominantly of celtic ancestry. As for many Italians... the ones that are in the northern provinces have a mixture of both celtic and germanic ancestry. Of course in the south provinces such as sicily or tuscany for example people don't look white whatsoever. As for Portugal and Spain many people in those countries have Arabic ancestry, and that's why they look so dark skinned.
