Dan Smith had been resurrected from the dead at least once before

his murder at the Union Hotel.

He knew that his boss could resurrect him from the dead; he knew

his boss was a total badass assassin. And his boss was on the

floor immediately above him. He may have waited to shoot because

he was pretty sure he wouldn't be permanently killed by the shot.

Check the video again, the gun went off inside his mouth.

He shot himself, fell to the ground and died. Then he was resurrected as Garcian, presumably by Harman who needed new assassins.

Garcian getting over his amnesia is the reason he freaks out at the end of the second to last chapter.

Following the event, Emir has a mental breakdown, suffering from dis-associative personality disorder, and becomes the utterly subservient Garcian Smith. The whole 'shooting yourself in the head' is entirely symbolic; along with his third eye. But that was the night that Emir as a personality dies.

Look, we could argue what is or isn't symbolic in killer7 for years and never manage to come to any kind of meaningful conclusion.

And while I agree that Emir most likely absorbed at least part of Harman's personality(Young Harman, based on the scene where Old Harman and Kun Lan get killed) it has no bearing on whether he died or not.

The third eye struck me as being like Kun lan's hand, it kept him alive until it closed and he shot himself.

Granted, this is mostly conjecture

And Harman Smith's sniper rifle is a destructive God power.

So, MAYBE Emir's eye links with that.

Perhaps when killing Harman, Emir's personality becomes dominated by Harman's (because it's the personality of a demi-God, after all) and THAT'S what made him become Garcian. Then later, he comes to the realisation that he can become more than just a pawn in their chess game by shooting them to pieces.

A lot of that makes sense.

As for the Emir/Garcian/Harman interaction, This is my theory:

Emir fought with Harman and attempted to take his power.

Instead, he gained the subservient Young Harman's powers/personality, becoming Garcian and leaving Harman comatose.

As Garcian had his mental breakdown, Young Harman broke free and killed Harman and Kun Lan as a final act of rebellion, accidentally opening the way for Emir to take control between the chapters "Smile" and "Lion."

Seeming as Harman had gray eyes and Kun Lan had red eyes. during the lion chapter Garcian has green eyes meaning becuase he was now awoken he had become a demi-god like Harman and Kun Lan. If Kun lans hand is constructive and Harmans is destructive the Garcians must be judgement as he does decide the fate of the world at the end with a gun in HIS RIGHT HAND same hand the other 2 used. Just a theory can't help but try and make sense out of this game lol XD

As I see it, the game is divided into several planes:

1) Gods plane - where Harman and Kun Lun are and see the world as it is and do with it what they want

2)Demi-God plane or Gods Hosts - like Garcian Smith, that Japanese guy, Heaven Smiles etc.

3)Spiritual plane - Ghost and such

4) Human plane - humans can't see Gods, ghosts, demi-gods (Garcian) until he reveals himself, and such but can see other 6 personas.

Harman---->Garcian---->6 P

Now things I don't understand: Young Harman?Why does he look like God Harman?are they related or is young Harman an avatar of God Harman?how can he be alive after safe scene?

Because it sounds identical to it.

Emir first absorbed Principal Harman who then had the power of a God. As a result, he created another avatar: Young Harman. Young Harman then became the head of Union 7. When Emir killed off Union 7 at the hotel, he did not kill Young Harman because he was not included in the number. Perhaps Young Harman rebelled against God Harman and was responsible for Emir's resurrect.

Anyway, I would agree totally with that guy cos u all can see that humans can't see or interact with highly beings... so that's a little shortened story and explains some weird scenes in game but not all of them :)

he must thougth harman would bring him back to life again so he started showed of, this resulted in his boom headshot. his plan back fired when he was consumed by Emris 3rd eye (which dosn't even to begin to make sence) and became a part of him. his power that came from not firing was the abilty to shoot aspliosions.

Curtis killed Dan the first time. At this point Dan was already revived and absorbed by Harman after getting shot by Curtis. In this case his gun didt contain any ammo..,OR.., he doesn't fire even though he wins the draw; he's just being careless, assuming Harman will revive him anyway. Dan is a key persona because he was one of Harman's first ''personalities''. That's one of the reasons why his persona gets introduced at the beginning of the game, like Garcian.

Dan DOES shoot, but obviously misses. If you play the video in slow motion, you can see the muzzle flashes of both Emir's/Garcian's and Dan's gun and if you listen closely you can here the two shots fired almost synchronous.
