i remember last year i learned first aid training in jrotc and then one summer morning on June 7th 2011 my 4 year old nephew slipped and fell on a fishbowl and the back of his head was bleeding a lot and my sister woke me up and i acted fast and patched him up and stopped the bleeding quick enough that there wasn't too much blood loss and he didn't have to go to the hospital because i fixed all the problems. i don't see how i could do that and not get a medal of heroism
You treated him to get an award? Wow. I called an ambulance for my father when he collapsed and stopped breathing and I kept him breathing until after 7 grueling minutes, they arrived. Do I want an award for that? No, not really. And neither should you. Ps... if he was bleeding you should NEVER take care of it on your own. You should've treated him with frist aid and called EMS and had him transported. You're lucky he didn't die from brain damage.
