Communism and democracy are not mutually exclusive. Communism basically means capital for production is collectively owned, while capitalism means its privately owned. So if ya like communism that means that you dont believe that any individual has the right to own his own business. Like a mechanic shop or bike shop. Democracy simply means government for the people while something like a dictatorship is the opposite to democracy.

It is the free market that determines the capital, if the market is not free then it it is not a form of capitalism. I know that. My point was that capitalism isnt bad in itself. It can be bad as is seen now when corporations and central banks control and distort all the markets. I agree with you that capitalism and socialism are just as valid. But the problem with socialism in my opinion is that too much power is concentrated in the state. In capitalist competitive free markets the individual and has more freedom and rights. I am against the current capitalist arrangement though.
