  • The MK. 23 SOCOM is the newest? Last I checked It's 1980's to 1990's tec.

  • that is why the US Army switched from the 38 to the 45 after the philiphine inserection and why police forces (not all) have switched over to the 40S&W So my sujustion to anyone looking for a decent priced gun with good stoping power and good recoal for follow up shots would be the rugger P90

  • My oppion on what is better the 9mm or the 45acp would all depend on what u were looking for in the round nether one is better than the other however with that being said id take the 45 anyday because the 9mm is a faster smaller round and u have to have much better shot placement to take out the target Plus when someone is shooting at you you want them to stop then not have to wate for them to bleed out with the slower heaver round u have a better chance of at least knocking thye down (contuned)

  • @latchbandit A 9mm has more penetration power therefore more effective against body armor but the 45. ACP causes more internal damage.

  • @deltaforce653

The 9mm also has better recoil characteristics.

  • With 9mm you can carry more bullets but that doesnt matter when 45 takes less to stop someone ..

  • Heckler & Koch Mk.23

    Best of the Best

  • my left ear enjoyed this very much.

  • the argument about calibers is retarded.unless you talking about pathetic street gangbangers.the best of the best military forces are trained to put sidearm rounds into a skull and thats what they do.there are good pistols and bad ones but when a good one is in the hands of a pro the term 'manstopper' becomes apparent regardless of the size of the round.when theres a hole in your brain, you are no longer a threat.

  • @Smurfacation moron, banking on making only headshots in combat is foolish, especially in close range self defence handgun fighting. anyone with a brain will tel;l you put as many rounds in your targets center mass as fast as you can.

bigger hole = faster bleed out and blood pressure drop, special forces use the 45 for a reason

  • @HunterKiller308 moron? i assume your not speaking from experience. SF dont 'bank' on headshots, they MAKE headshots. the SAS in my country use 9mm with the double tap technique. this is the SF unit i refer to in my last post. banking on someone bleeding out and hoping they dont shoot back is in your words, foolish. like i said - stop the brain, stop the body. but of course only the best are conditioned to do this. not all special forces are equal.

  • @Smurfacation dumb shit, yeah try to make headshots when the threat is moving doging ducking behind cover popping in and out while sraying fire in your face....you have no idea what combat is like or the physical skills and mental focus it would take to make aimed headshots with a pistol in combat

  • @HunterKiller308 that comment makes no sense. you describe a scenario which a handgun isnt suited to. You are the one who has no idea what is required to become exceptionally skilled in combat otherwise you would not be making a point of it in the first place.what IS required is not out of reach for those few who do find the capabilities within themselves. Go back to your COD game fuckhead!

  • @Smurfacation have fun in your fantasy life little wanna be mall ninja bitch....

  • blackwater=terrorists for hire

  • theres alot of factors in why the military uses the H&K USP.45 any gun person knows that a .45 has better ballistics then a 9mm thats the reason them military developed the 1911 to begin with. The standard issue military sidearm is the Berreta M9 which is a very good gun but many spec op units choose a USP or still really on there trusty 1911's.

  • @ajmac26 alot of it has to do with the fact the 45 acp has way better ballistics than the 9mm when suppressed since the round is already sub sonic and very heavy, 9mm need to be super sonic to do any real damage and thats bad for suppressors

  • The USP is state of the art? A Glock 19 has more capacity. And even Army Medical has said "it can be readily appreciated that the .45 caliber bullet is of little value as a wound-producing agent except in the softer tissues and at near ranges" since 1962.* 9mm and .30 are far more effective and allow for much greater capacity.

    *MEDICAL DEPARTMENT, UNITED STATES ARMY

    WOUND BALLISTICS

CHAPTER II: Ballistic Characteristics of Wounding Agents, p140

    You can read it @history.amedd.army.mil

  • @Gammaclipper usp can fire underwater, can a glock do that?

  • @pineapplexpression

Actually yes. There are several videos of Glocks firing underwater on Youtube. Shotguns usually explode and gas operated weapons either explode or fail to cycle but most high quality handguns will. The bullets don't go far or move fast but the guns work.

    watch?v=ectL29w_9l8

  • @Gammaclipper alright you got me there. usp is still better though

  • @pineapplexpression

I'll refer you back to my first post on this video. The USP is .45 ACP. Army Medical says it's a poor wound producer compared with 9mm. The gun itself is virtually identical to a Glock in operation so the only real differences are price and ammo. G19 wins on both of those.

Tilting barrel is a pretty terrible design though.

  • @Gammaclipper . if the glock was a better firearm i think the army wouldve realised that. the sidearm would only be used in an emergency situation and close range and in that case the .45 is a more effective manstopper

  • @pineapplexpression

You really didn't read that report at all did you? Army Medical basically called .45 ACP shit. "While the same bullet with its characteristics was used in the submachinegun, multiple hits probably compensated for the weaknesses, so apparent in single shots." In other words, it's not a good wound producer. Stopping power means the ability to kill a target where it stands. So a poor wound producer would have little stopping power. Face it, Luger is better.

  • @Gammaclipper shut the fuck up about your report. my cousin is a nurse and most of the gunshot wounds she sees are 9mm. and most of those fuckers survive. do you know why she hasnt seen any .45 survivers? they go right to the morgue

  • @Gammaclipper "Stopping power means the ability to kill a target where it stands" WRONG! the only way you are going to kill anything where it stands is if you hit it in its brain/CNS, even then its not always a sure thing. its all about shot placment.you have no idea what your fucking talking about kid. ALL HANDUNS ARE WAY UNDERPOWERED thats why you want to pack as much of a punch as possible. multiple rounds on target is true stopping power

@pineapplexpression dont listen to that dumb fuck

  • @pineapplexpression 45 is more effective Manstopper but you can place 3 or more 9mm Rounds into the enemy more accurately with a modern day 9mm in the time you could fire 1 round with the 45.

Watch Lock n Load with R, Lee Ermey and look the comparison of Berretta M9 and Colt45.In the Slowmotion you can see that the 9mm already had fired the 2nd Shot before the 45 had closed the Slide of 1 Shot

  • @pineapplexpression Umm yea the glock 21 fires the 45. ACP dumbass and besides a 9mm has more penetration power therefore it is more effective against body armor

  • @deltaforce653 sure it is

  • @pineapplexpression Ask an expert or look it up.

  • @deltaforce653 like you? lololol

  • @Gammaclipper you're relying on a government bureaucracy for those statistics. You want real world knowledge? Ask a soldier who's used both calibers in combat.

  • @liljgoneman

Because anecdotes and uncontrolled, unblinded tests with no statistical validity are always more reliable than experiments performed in labs by doctors and engineers who control variables and accurately measure performance.

  • @Gammaclipper combat is the final say in this matter. I'll say it again. Ask ANY soldier which sidearm he would have the most confidence in. I bet you get a single response universally. Not much faith in "controlled" experiments, they merely prove the exception more often than not.

  • @liljgoneman

Why would I want to opinion of welfare queens too retarded and aggressive to get real jobs? Nah, I think I'll stick with people that might actually know a damn about what they're talking about. U mad, bro?

  • no match for my light saber.......

  • my left ear enjoyed this very much.

  • blackwater .... phychopathic murderers that would do anything for money.NO RESPECT

  • @PARATERRORIST If there was ever some sort of internment program put against American citizens, they would be the thugs hired to round people up.

  • @PARATERRORIST No blackwater merc are just honest.. anyone who honestly belives that American solider are fighting for the country and being patrioic are just naive.

  • They reload faster than stoepit computer games!

  • The best pistol for Special Forces is the Glock 18C

  • It probably would be safe to say that there are more SFOs who swear at HK MK23 than swear by it. I have HK USP Tactical. It is ultimately unreliable, with suppressor or without. It has been to HK repair facility 3 times already. One of the problems they found was that ejector was initially installed from a different model. Speaks volumes about their QC. Don't know about HK in Germany, but HK branch here is US simply SUCKS, for the lack of more descriptive word.

  • @KA3AKBTEXACE I also have a USP Tactical, I have never had a problem with it. Im sorry to hear you got a lemon.

  • @KA3AKBTEXACE To be honest, the Mk23 was designed for a silly role. You can hardly blame it for being as ridiculous as it is.

  • The Makurien Army special Forces have more stronger firearms then the humans spaceial forces of planet Earth in space warfare!

  • at 1:29 is that person running out the door, that falls over,a transvestite? It's certainly not a man and neither a woman.Do they invite trannies to Japanese embassies?what sort of party were they having?Maybe it was a delegation of transexuals from Thailand that was visiting and were later to provide entertainment to the other guests?Anyway something odds going on there!!

  • I bought the "tales of the gun" complete box set. It says it's the entire series. Why is this one not in the box set. Does it go under a different name?

  • your headset or speakers are not broken. it's just that this clip only has sound from the left speaker.

  • 3:50 what happens if all the operators inside get shot, and the enemy comes running out of the door. I am glad NSW has updated the room clearing exercise since then lol.

  • before the history channel became shit

  • lol "since biblical times", you can see this show was created by a stupid gun and bible wielding American redneck. history includes biblical time then nothing and then jumping right to the first settlers of north America.

  • @MartianSanta EASY there Yasif these dumb american Rednecks happen to be one of Your countrys only friends

  • @STEALTHMAST3R these Rednecks are the world greatest enemy!

the world would have been much better if the Confederacy survived.

all thous bible and guns psychopathic rednecks are dragging america down.

it's amazing how the same country that sent a man on the moon still have so much idiots for citizens.

  • Awesome recue!

  • Black Water is the company who lets his effectives work under the influence of drugs and alcohol in Irak and killed a lot of unarmed civilians, treated US ARMY soldiers, killed the bodyguards of the president of Irak and were kicked out of Irak and others coutries for the unprofesional behevior of its effectives.

  • Blackwater is loyal to the usa most are former us spec ops and marines

  • @jeremytheknight You are not that loyal if you fight for money isted for you country.

  • @NallePu83 money seems to provide a higher number of hostile's killed, fewer civilians killed, far fewer casualty's and vast additions to the nations intel, show me one black water agent whos ever fucked over america

  • @jeremytheknight 11.16.2007 Blackwater killed 17 iraqi civilians.

Tell me why Blackwater changed there name to Xe

  • @NallePu83 thats not that many

  • @NallePu83 how many iraqi civilians have been killed by the usmc? or the army? the air force? do you think war is a game? because in games no good people have to die, in war, in reality, good people die civilians and military frankly i dont give a fucking damn why they changed their name to xe i could assume all i want and id be no closer to the logic the company used to make that decision but they have that right, and i choose 2show my veterans mercenary or otherwise some mother fucking respect

  • "they (the Boers) made use of the fact that they were very familiar with tracking from their hunting, they were very proficient with their Mauser Rifles, and they combined their ability to use stealth, hit hard, hit fast and get out of there".

So who did the British send in to win the war? The Aussies and Kiwis. Men who who had grown up on farms, knew how to shoot, ride horses, and weren't restrained by convention. The film, Breaker Morant is an example of Aussies fighting during the Boer War

  • My favorite weapon. To me, it is more impressive than an AK-47, although I still love the Kalashnikov.

  • the democratic elected govt. of Peru...that the US created...utter nonsense

  • @justaman6972

agreed, its only democratic, because the US officials decided to put him in....

  • @helix4811 well done and well read friend.

  • @justaman6972

    why thank you kind sir

  • bastards tricked me the video changed after i put the cursor on it

    Not "Kotch"

  • @nachospole1 Ozzies are best with their backs against the wall.Suffice to say only reason Im proud to be Ozzie is Kokoda and Tobruk.39th Battalion and 9th division the Elite

  • No mention of the British rifle skirmishers in the Napoleonic wars?

    *rolls eyes*

  • @Ag3nt0fCha0s they can't handle the awesomeness that is sharpe's rifles

  • 2:54 its that a p90 in the hands of the peruvian commando?

  • @curseofa5r5a I do believe it is, it's got the same design, so it's no doubt a P90.

  • @Aerosmith589 yeah man i just read some data provided by the peruvian army, and yes they where using the p90, in fact this was the first combat where the p90 was extensely battle proved, acording with the informs, the p90 was just remarcable during the incursion.

  • Is there audio for this video?

  • i love this show

  • Mk.23 SOCOM w/laser= WOOHOO I HAVE PWNAGE AT MY FINGERTIPS!!

  • @AzNgiftedkid uh huh... if a Aim-9 Sidewinder costs about $20,000 each then how much money you got? The more complicated weapon systems get the more money ya need

  • No sound.

  • It's too bad the Mk.23 SOCOM is such a bulky weapon. It's good, reliable, and accurate but it's just too big and cumbersome to be effective. The USP Tactical is a much better fit and you only lose the bulk.

  • @LupisLupine Do you know some stuff about guns because i need someone experienced to talk too.

  • What an awesome rescue!

  • the bible as a historic source. now thats truly american.

  • Blackwater,hmm now there's a dodgy as fuck company,loyal to no one.

  • you can't trust anyone with anything as important as your reputation and your life. its as simple as that

  • Amen, brother amen.

  • @HiredForLife24 I'm in the army and i trust a number of people with my life

  • @silver760 except money

  • @silver760 loyal to money

  • @silver760 American civilians.. hmm now there is a bunch of panicky idiots. Blackwater was more loyal to America than most allied countries were.. but you screwed that up too.

  • @silver760 Wrong, we are loyal to the highest bidder.

  • @DammitDrag Why because they carry out controversial, possibly unethical operations? No, the CIA is the highest bidder, they just have a blank check to do things that don't seem to fit the "clean" public profile of the CIA, hence the illusion of an alterior "employer".

  • @FrankDaTank1218 You actually think Blackwater only works for the CIA ??? LMFAO !

  • @DammitDrag I think thats the point, so people like you are convinced they aren't, misinformation is just as powerful a weapon for them as any firearm.

  • @FrankDaTank1218 most certainly misinformation is the most valuable weapon, Just look at operation overlord, Mercenary contractors have been used for many centuries and aren't always a bad thing.

  • @silver760 I beleive Blackwater is just a "plausibly deniable" secret arm of the CIA, Delta Force (when it was still a secret/Mythic group, did the CIA's dirty work, coincidentally, Blackwater as we know today was formed right around the time that Delta Force's definitive existence was publicly exposed. There just a means for the CIA to bend or even comletely avoid the bullshit rules put in place by politiics.

  • @silver760 They are loyal to something, and it's cold hard cash.

  • @silver760 You obviously don't know much about the company. You probably just payed attention to what they said on the news

  • @silver760blackwater? they work for the US goverment. they pretend to be independent so that their crimes cannot be tied to the US but everyone know who their boss is (except americans who believe it's a independent company)

  • @HubertWolfen black water is on its own but the contracts have to come from somewhere its often contrys that are to small to be able to afford to have a standing army that hire mercs because when the jobs done that can get rid of them but for some reason the USA likes to hire 1000s of mercs and clame to root them out and distroy them at the same time even when they have 1000s on pay role

  • @silver760 Mercenaries are loyal to only one thing. Money.

  • @silver760 Blackwater is a mercenary company. They're loyal to the highest bidder

  • @silver760 And their CEO recently left the US and ran to the UAE, hmmmm.

  • @silver760 what do you mean by that? do they teach anyone or somthing?

  • @silver760 your an idiot there for profit and they are more effective than ordinary soldiers

  • @TheJasonDR MERCENARIES like them have no honor other than the all mighty dollar... I would rather take someone who STANDS FOR THEIR COUNTRY and constitution any damn day over mercenaries!

  • @cramsa well...then that goes against Nature .... fighting for money makes people want to fight more .....and proves Mercenaries to be more effective than ordinary soldiers .... its simply nature and the foundations of Capitalism...

  • @cramsa blackwater fights almost exclusively for the U.S. and besides the amount soldiers get paid is just not fair.

  • @suspicious35 doesn't matter, they are mercs. They are guns for hire. And I have no respect for people that kill others for the sake of a buck. These men would have no qualms marching through the streets of any US city in the same way they do Baghdad or in Kabul or Kandahar, so long as the price was right. If they did, I'd have no qualms shooting the fuckers in the head, Geneva doesn't mean shit, I'll use 300 Winchester Magnum hollow points on them.

  • they probbly got the idea from that like they do for most of thier guns

  • @1911sa

I think you mean the halo 3 odst pistol looks like the mk23.

  • @steveeeeboi FUCK OFF WITH HALO!

  • @Tux3d0

I don't even have an xbox....
