how do you know where to put shadows and stuff?? highlights to,, i can never figure that out lool. itturns out looking like this weird scribled on head xD....

@toontownrocksccp103 It's all about light sources. Draw a character, and maybe doodle a quick sun on either side. Say your light source is from the left, then everything you shade would be aimed at the right side of the character.

Basically your shading on the right side with your light source being on the left.

@toontownrocksccp103 I agree with WebkinzWebbyCuties X3 You need a light source, depending on what that light source is, you draw shadows to counter it. Turn on a light and look in a mirror or see some photos of different people with different light sources 8) They'll all vary and I find it very useful ^_^
