if he hadn't played for the wizards, where he only averaged 22 points a game, his career points per game average wouldve been 33 points, 3 points higher than the next highest average, wilt the stilt chamberlain. so damn
hey i just thought of a new MMO and my character would be -:
Name - Michael Jordan
Race - Black (for extra athleticism)
Class - Shooting Guard
Sub Class - Bull (For charge to basket for automatic 2 points) and Wizard (hits a glitch where you input a particular name you reach level 99 instantly)
He was putting up like 22 points per game at near 40 years old. That's impressive. Especially considering he left the league twice for years at a time. Rusty and old, he's still good.
@ElChe354 Jordan left because Bulls management disbanded the team. He got a desk job at the Wizards and then came back to play for them because they needed lessons on how to play.
@maxgotvids Mac Culloch just stood there and watched and the ball ends up hitting him in the face hahaha. forget Jordan Todd is the greatest of all time
@kanguesso Well that's kind of largely due to his high media notoriety. No disrespect, though. Kareem is hands down the best player hat ever lived, in my opinion at least.
@IZZYRULEZ I disagree. Notoriety or not, Numbers don't lie. His accomplishments don't lie. That's the same thing as saying Tiger Woods was only Great due to his high media notoriety.
@kanguesso I realize his accomplishments are great, his numbers are great, and for that he should be considered one of the best, but not THE best. I believe Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is the best of all time.
@IZZYRULEZ I disagree dude. There is no way in god's green earth Kareem Abdul-Jabbar can be the GOAT. He's wasn't better than Magic Johnson, Akeem Olajuwon and Let alone MJ. Did he win Championships? yes, is he the GOAT? hell no. I'd take Bill Russle before i'd take Kareem.
@kanguesso Had more points than hakeem, had more rebounds than Hakeem, had more blocks than him, I think that makes him better than Hakeem. As for Russell, who is, to me, the greatest defender of all time: Russell was a great defender, but that's just about all he had. He wasn't a scorer. Kareem was a scorer, in fact, the best ever, and one of the best defenders as well. That rules out Russell being better, as well as Hakeem Olajuwon. As for MJ....
@IZZYRULEZ Well, Russell did lead his team to 11 championships. Yes he did it mostly with defense but that is just fine to me. The man has 11 rings. Kareem may have score more than hakeem, but hakeem in my mind was the better player skill wise. The man was an offensive and defensive machine. His offensive repotoire would make Kareem's offensive look like a beginner. What did Kareem really have offensively, a jump hook?
@kanguesso First of all, Kareem, if you don't understand is the best offensive player to ever live. At his prime, he was unstoppable. Hakeem great, but Kareem shadows over him. He's probably the best defensive player out there! Olajuwon had handles of a point guard and was great, but there is no way that he could stop Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. also, Russells Celtics were the best team in an era of a few good. teams. No disrespect, but he couldn';t have gotten 11 in the 80s even. Again, no disrespect.
@IZZYRULEZ I think we are gonna have to have to agree to disagree BIG TIME. Olajuwon would LITERALLY school Kareem with his eyes closed. There had never been a big man before with handles of a point guard, low post moves to die for and CRAZY, CRAZY PUMP FAKES. No way in Hell Kareem could have stood a chance of stoping Olajuwon one on one. He made a prime Shaq look stupid.
@kanguesso I think we will have to. In my opinion, both are offensive nightmare, and this, at least we can agree on: both players will have a hard time guarding each other in their prime. I just think Kareem would be able to stop Olajuwon more effectively than he would be able to stop Kareem.
@IZZYRULEZ Yep that's what i thought we were gonna have to do. I don't know how you can, but i just can't see Kareem Stopping Olajuwon with all his moves. Kareem didn't have that many impressive moves. But, you believe in Kareem and i believe in Olajuwon. I guess that's that.
@kanguesso Well Hakeem had plenty of post moves, but Kareem only needed one, the one that matters: Skyhook. At his prime, and executed correctly you cannot stop it, unless you want to be called for a goaltending. So I guess, that's that.
@IZZYRULEZ Hahaha You're kidding right? You can't survive in today's NBA with only one move. Skyhook? that move is so past time it's not even a joke. Dude look at Kareem highlight moves and compare them with Olajuwon's moves and you mean to tell me Kareem would have beat Olajuwon? That is a joke.
@kanguesso We both have our different opinions. I have seen both player's highlights, many times. It's outdated? Please, it's timeless. I am merely suggesting that both would have trouble playing each other defensively. I thought we were passed this. I just think Kareem would be the better player in the end. And I said he only needed one. He had other moves as well.
@IZZYRULEZ And all i said was that you Can't beat anyone, let alone a player like Olajuwon, with just ONE MOVE, and a SKYHOOK at that. But hey, what you're do eh? In the end, you do have your opinion and i have mine.
@IZZYRULEZ Why couldn't every discussion be as respectful and as Mature as this one? The internet is full of keyboard warriors these days. I don't believe in policing the Net but some websites should really consider it. Way too many parasites around.
As he made a move to the basket, he had strained his hamstring getting in the air. Old man Jordan went to the ground in pain... Not as a loser though, but as the man who could still dunk. lol
he was the same age as shaq is today and he still was one of the best players in the league and look at shaq today thats why mj is the greates of all time
@TheHATEZZ yeah and big guys are supposed to be more durable cause of how far they have to jump off the ground unlike jordan who dunked prolly 3 or 4 times a game
@siliconsurf mj avg 22ppg as a wizard, show me a 40 years old that can do this,he even schooled posey and scored 40 on his ass,the same poesy who shut down kobe in the finals
@wizardhype when he was a wizard he was never at one point better than the best in the nba..your just dickriding..the bulls jordan is the G.O.A.T. ...what your saying is just from emotions..dont get out of hand
He was very good as a Wizard. Some young guy averages 22, 5, and 5 and he would make the All Star game. A 40 year old man dropping 50 point games...MJ was the MAN.
He scored 51 against New Jersey in his first season with the Wizards and 43 against the same Nets team the next season at the age of 39(51) and 40(43).
i thought he was pretty good as a wizard. Some dudes on radio sports show said he was washed up when he was playing as a wizard. I thought he was still a good player.
