your very good but i'd advise you to get Photoshop, Use it in usion with MS Paint and you can get perfect RPCs... thars how i made half of mine..

@AailyFTW You seem to don't know anything about rpcing. Before you go around telling people it's "copyrighted" actually look up rpcs. This is how almost everyone makes them. You can edit it any way you want. Tracing, is like changing the color of a character's hair and clothes. Rpcing, is changing stuff, like the hair, clothes, weapons, etc.

How about this: You create a completely new character in the universe and you draw them FROM SCRATCH. References are fine, edits and traces are not. You learn nothing from them.

Yeah, sorry if I wasn't clear or something. That's what I meant basically XD I use artists' work for like a base of reference or something, but I don't trace. Traces are just wrong. It's like those stupid color overs you see on Youtube of people changing the color of the hair and clothes of characters.

But then when I actually looked back at how I even got to where I am as an artist (which isn't even that impressive) through hard work, it is actually really irritating for a fucking recolour to get 'OMG KAWAII DESU NE' when artists like such as myself struggle to even get constructive criticism.

Tracing and edits like this also just soil and defile the original character. The fan character requires the other character as a base. It becomes a soulless parasite because it can't be anything without that character defining the form. It pisses me off to no end because character design is another thing that I'm passionate about.

I edited the exact same pic for my RPC (which didn't come out bnearly as good as this ^_^;;) and when you get rid of 'em, you cna just copy another poiece of the background and paste it into that spot with a little editing, and it looks almost seamless. check my video "kakashi- underage stlakers" to see mine. ^_^
