yesh. btw thats a new 'Stevie' word. Yes + Yeah = yesh lol. but you would love dually too if you could see him or ride him. He can jump a good 4 feet, 4 feet and a half. But ive never jumped him larder that a very very small croosrail

Looks like you had a good lesson.

Could I give a little critique though?I think this is what throws you off balance a little when you land.. try and sink your wait in your heel more and think "folding" at the hip rather then standing up.You also need to give a little more release over the jump so he can stretch and have better form :)

hopefuly that wasn't too harsh or anything. I'm not a pro either.. but I just noticed a few things and maybe my advice will help a little :)

Yeah it is when i get nervous and uneasy about jumps. I am working on having a postive mind set instead of my mind full of all these bad things that could happen at the jump I am approaching.

Uhh my horse doesnt have shoes no offence just because he doesnt have shoes dont mean he is trippy. If you think shoes is the prob, it is not. It is something wrong with his joints, hooves or something and another. Shoes isnt your problem.

I know that some horses don't have shoes at they are just fine but he has had shoes most of his life so he might be used to them or somethng idk.

sorry but my mom and are farrier, and my dad, and the farriers wife know alot about horses, and are farrier says if a horse has shoes its got some thing wrong with its feet, i kniw dont think im stupid!

and my boss is a farrier and her owns his own equestrian centre... u telling me he knows nothing! just because a horse has shoes doesnt mean it has problems with its feet! i mean i knew a horse who had problems with his feet and with some supplements he was fine! and plus if u have hard surface that u ride on if u put shoes on it wont make the horses feet hurt!

horses dont NEED shoes, there feet are fine withoutr them, but if a horse has some thing wrong with its feet that woiuld be the onley reason it would need shoes, i know, and soooooo does are farrier and his wife and my dad and mom, theyve all been into horses for about 36 years, so dont think your anysmarter, or your woosy farrier, shillot!

ok, just FYI race horse farriers aren't that good. Most race horse injuries are frome foot problems related to bad shoes.

but anyways try giving more of a release when you are going over a bigger jump. like dont keep your hands down at the withers. i used to have a MAJOR problem with that. but if you give more of a release the horse jumps rounder and your 2-point will be better :D

I know how you feel about him being tripy. I rode a 18 hand tb named Max a week ago and he dind't have shoes on so he was acing like a baby. I told him to rub some dirt in it! He's a sweetie, he NEVER refuses a jump! If you don't set him up right then he just lurches over it like it's a HUGE jump :)

Violet! You look great! Thats is the horse for you! Your legs were great too! Those first rounds, when you were trotting, in the beginnning, were amazing and so pretty! That one oxer thing looked big and you jumped it! How tall was that cause you looked like, perfect over it! =D

great riding but by the way not all horses need shoes, is ur arena sand if so he should be ok, just will gravel arena's they need shoes or they will get rocks in there shoes, but he us a very nice horse ur lucky
