@Kipthunder There always is that one guy, who cares, even if he does not decide to write something. And even if no one cares, that is fine for me, because I have no intention to start a discussion here whatsoever anyway.
But at least you noticed my comment, so it wasn't in vain :)
George Lucas is a serial rapist. The things that he's done to his own movies are just unimaginable. I kind of think he made the original trilogy BY ACCIDENT.
Lucas won't let the pain fade away Just when you think it's over he yanks out more Clone Wars then when that isn't enough he pulls out the the Blue Ray set with even more unneeded changes to the Originals. And soon to follow all the films in 3D for 6 years. Just let it die and let us remember the old unaltered originals
From a universe-building perspective the prequel trilogy is amazing and I see what George Lucas tried to do and Ian McDiarmid and Palpatine's rise to power is 100% the best thing to have come out of it, but it just fails with the characters. I caught a glimpse of the animated series Clone Wars the other day and noticed how there is no difference between the animated acting and the real deal. If only they'd started with Revenge of the Sith and worked their way up, and shown the rest in flashbacks
Episode 2 (hey, I liked the film noir quality, and the Obi-Wan investigator/Assassins, I didn't like they killed off his target in the same movie, thereby removing LONG term "Bad ass" coming back to get em again and again. And oh god don't try to direct actors George, you suck at it.
Episode 3 (Almost redeemed the whole prequel stories, even with its Noooo!!! scene.
Not to mention rumors that George Lucas might be planning a third trilogy, thousands of years in the future to avoid destroying the canon more. Then again...midi-chlorians. Yeeeeeaaahhhhh....... Some things are better left unexplained.
Isn't that what the EU is for? Oh, wait. He can mess with THAT.

LOL! i loved this show, awesome. i missed a few episodes i think , it was on a stupidly late slot, but this scene coined it for me, i was in fits, feeling total affinity with Tims pain. WE were the star wars gen and George Lucus SOLD US down the river of cheese and commerce.
I can't decide if I should cry "hypocrites" or "double standards", so probably I won't do either.
