So like whats the overall speed of the connection when using Dial-Up via Ethernet you know. Cause im getting 1.5 Mbps DSL soon, and thats a descent speed.
Wow man do what you gotta do man hey whatever works.I wish i knew about this 5 years ago. I would have been online with my original XBOX years ago when i still had AOL Dial-Up
The reason why it works fine with dial-up is that racing games only need to use a very small protocol.
The server probably only sends the coordinates and rotation of the race car to the client, which then just simulates the race car using that data just like it does like with the AI.
A massive prank will be pulled on "comedian" Fred on youtube.
What is trying to be done is get everyone that has a subscription to fred, to unsubscribe. If this is succsesful, then it will make the news, cause controversy,

I'm hoping to be doing this starting this weekend as I plan to get a router. Biggest problem might be the cost of one. I'm sure I have enough though. :)
i can do wifi without a router i just connect my modem to the lan adaptor then to the wii and works perfect and im happy that i finally found a way to wifi
I use the LinkSys Wireless-G Router, model #WRT54G. It works great, once I switched over from my USB Connector (which broke too), the performance was amazingly better than the USB dongle. And I can use everything with it, Wii DS PSP 360
Nice job there, I used to be undefeated at Rainbow Road too, then after awhile you eventually find better people. You're technique is almost the same as mine.
I am quite surprised that people can play online using a dial-up connection without lagging issues, knowing that dial-up is slower than broadband. However, I agree that playing online is much better (and more enjoyable) than Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Mario Kart Wii is the first game I played online the most.
why can't smash bros brawl be fast like this online? i mean it's total crap.

Because I cannot get DSL in my area, and I don't need it to play online anyways.

Uh, what I'm saying is that I can play online with dial-up and there's hardly any difference in gameplay even though Nintendo says it won't work.

O RLY?!?!?! =O
I'd have more but I never really played any random after the night I did this. I have 7017 points I think.
Me and my friend Nick just kept playing until everybody left (it was late at night) and it was just me and him on random wifi! lol!
GekkouKitsune 3 years ago
I really don't play for just points. I play for fun mostly. Points can take the fun out. Just saying. <.<
