  • Fantastic ! Can't believe I hadn't heard this yet !

  • this is brilliant on about a 6'00000000000 levels

  • She doesn't age-I view this with mixed feelings, mainly cos, despite the fun performance, it must be the last thing she would sing before her long disappearance away from the scene, as the new album she had started, then completed just after her first child was born a year later, ran into ridiculous and still mysterious legal problems. MCA then locked it away & to this day it remains unheard.

  • Kim Wilde!!! Gorgeous. Brilliant spoof song. Bring back Tony!!!

  • Very funny, shes still sooo Hot.

  • I just love Kim Wilde!

  • His high-pitched yelp at the end always cracks me up, it's the way his eyes roll as he does it. I think people tend to forget that Steve's incredibly versatile not only in his voices but also his facial mannerisms, he never goes for out-and-out gurning, just very subtle things that add so much to his performances.

  • @SmartarseName04 I often think that, every part he plays is like a completely separate person. He's brilliant!

  • the Bjork one is better, imo. Bjork's played the character completely innocent and into it. I can't help but feel that Kim is winking to the audience.

  • Imagine Alan Partridge interviewing Tony Ferrino!

  • Kim looks great.. So HOT!

  • Love it when he repeats "please, please dont tell my wife"! Such a funny song. I stil got this on video. Wud luv the rare cd but its too expensive

  • This is far more sexual than the bjork-comic relief scene...and Kim's voice is far more au-pairy (if that is a real word...)

  • "...nothing could stop what followed...lucky for me you SWALLOWED...EVERY LIE..."

    LOL

  • I think he looks a bit like Nicholas cage here, haha.

  • this is hilarious- brings back great memories! that last note coogan hits made me laugh so hard!

  • i love kim wilde in this so very sexy

and so funny .what else could one ask for

  • So funny! This programme was genius! Tony Ferrino was such a great character :-)

  • Hilarious-love it!!

  • oh god, she's soooo fit

  • >3 it!

  • excelent je decouvre

  • Awesome stuff!

  • Thanks for posting this! I always thought it strange this character of Steve's was considered a failure. For me it was always spot-on and very funny. I always remembered this show as a terrific send-up of those 70s variety shows such as The Vince Hill Show or Shirley Bassey Show which my Mum and Dad watched. Fantastic!

  • Indeed and how mad is it that those song and dance variety shows are now on Saturday nights once more thanks to the Cowells and Lloyd Webbers of this world. Naff becomes popular once more.

Incidentally, I love how that dress hugs Kim's ample arse!

  • Ferrino is my favourite Coogan character. I also don't get why he's not considerably more popular.

  • Since Teases & Dares and You Came, I have never seen to dress so fine and ideal everywhere as Kim Wilde. She is incredibly sophisticated.

  • Possibly the mosty attractive Kim Wilde in the '90s

  • Possibly the best Coogan character ever

  • @stonedroses100 That is Alan Partridge.
