@LBTennis Maybe you don't know the true meaning of emo. This was emo, ther real emo, and is not wrong to say you enjoy the true emo music. Emo is not girly haircuts, tight jeans, make up, or to sing to popcore modern stupid songs. Emo is short for emotive. It comes from emotive hardcore, and this is the most emotive music you'll find. I think this songs are sad, really sad, but the sadness this bands wrote and sang about, are not the shitty pop rock made for ten years old scene fags.

This is such an incredible song..the trumpet is kind of dreary.. which puts you in the mind-frame of someone in a slight depression preparing for departure from the ones they love. By the time Mike Kinsella opens his mouth, you already know what he's going to say. You already know how to feel about it.. yet with every passing word, you grow more and more entranced with the message of the song...

I actually listened to these guys and Owen for a long time before I realized Mike was in both. I wasn't into reading up on personnel yet, I guess. Amazing band, wish they'd have done more, but you can't argue with just how solid this full length and their EP are.
