when i plan a workout usually i want to bring up a certain area so i focus on that one area... when supersetting 2 parts like chest and shoulders what exactly is the goal with this? it doesnt allow you to really focus on any specific area. i tried it and it feels like of pointless bc i cant life nearly as intense and focus on each bodypart when my delts are already burnt out by the time i get to chest i cant do near as much as usual so whats the point?

Oh, there's one more thing. The use of HGH results in what is called muscle hyperplasia - the growth of brand new muscle fibers - your muscle fiber basically multiplies at a genetical level. So the person who has used HGH, (presumably at moderate dosages for years), will always have an increased advantage that lasts forever, even tough the person isn't using it any more. So i don't see how a person could call himself "natural" after knowing what 'sport performance techonology' does to ones body.

A Compound set is similar to a superset in that it incorporates an exercise pair, but a compound set works muscles in the same muscle group. Of course, I could be wrong, but every textbook I have read pertaining to set manipulation describes a superset as I have above.

@mjs1231 Sounds like you might have damaged your rotator cuff, i did the exact same thing doing bench press, i dunno about where to get it looked at because i live in the uk but there are specific exercises you can do for it, look it up :)

This is great. Although, it is difficult at my gym, Bally's, to do supersets because depending on what exercise you're doing and what is required, you may not be able to start the next exercise immediately. Depending on the night, such a Monday evening, benches and smith machines are used constantly and requires waiting for availability.

Sorry Levrone, you are doing two compound sets, quite impressively I might add. A superset is when you do two exercises of opposing muscle groups, ie. anterior and rear delts. You are fantastic. Keep up the good work.

That's not a real superset. It's called a compound set when you work the same muscle group back to back! A real superset would be chest and back, push/pull back to back with no rest. Example: flat bench to barbell bent over row! 4 sets of 8to12reps. With 30 to 90 secs rest after you complete the superset. Then 2 different excersizes incline bench to lat pulldown... And other agionist/antagionist work!

There is a video on youtube of him behind the neck pressing 180kilograms on the smith machine years ago when he was on gear go look it up. Maybe go get a clue instead of spouting of a bunch of nonsensical insults.

Opps. I looked it up. You can do supersets with the same muscle group. I'm old school. I was taught that this particular workout was a compound set. I stand corrected. Good luck.

Sorry Levrone, you are doing two compound sets, quite impressively I might add. A superset is when you do two exercises of opposing muscle groups, ie. anterior and rear delts. You are fantastic. Keep up the good work.

That's not a real superset. It's called a compound set when you work the same muscle group back to back! A real superset would be chest and back, push/pull back to back with no rest. Example: flat bench to barbell bent over row! 4 sets of 8to12reps. With 30 to 90 secs rest after you complete the superset. Then 2 different excersizes incline bench to lat pulldown... And other agionist/antagionist work!

you guys are idiot's. he had a hernia and took a break. realized his self being was better off taking a break. which transfered to him going into a stunt double, which got him hurt. and he is also in a band having a great time. the guy just had a rough patch and is documenting his come back steroid free this time. yes he used to do them, but hes making his return naturally to see what he can accomplish. he wants to challenge himself not the drug. so for all you idiot's out there learn your facts
