My cousin and I went on this ride and I loved it!!!!! We also went on the dragster. It gives you a headache but it is stillawesome

In all honesty, this ride is actually kind of fun. I tend to over-exaggerate, saying the ride sucks or it's boring. But did I enjoy myself? Absolutely. The biggest gripe of this ride though is the absence of leg-room. Pain. Ohhh the pain. If the lines are decent enough and you have some time to kill, this one's pretty cool.

3 of my friends and I went to Cedar Point this summer all the way from South Carolina, and we rode EVERY SINGLE ROLLER COASTER here...except this one cuz we thought it was going to be lame.

@cedine1 Is this ride "Top Thrill Dragster"? Of course not. But it's still a fun ride that holds a place in my heart. I pretty much love all Cedar Point rides. Of course the bigger/faster/newer ones are gonna be better, but the oldies ain't so bad.

This was my first upside-down roller coaster. I was pale in the face becuz when in saw the loop, it was a LOT bigger than i have seen in pictures. I went throught every upside down part and didnt feel a thing. XD

It may not compare to the newer rides but you have to respect the ride for what it is. This ride was the first to go upside down three times back in 1976 so it was really revolutionary for its time. You just have to try and put yourself in the shoes of people that were riding it when it was brand new since it was a crazy coaster at that time.

I remember the first time I went to cedar point about 20 years ago this ride was the biggest thing up there. It was the coolest, scariest one. Now its about 12th on the list. lol

you wanna go on an awesome ride but dont want to go on one that is soooo high, go on the maverick. 105 ft and still might be the best ride in the park. thats saying something

I remember back in the early 80's, every amusement park had to have a Corkscrew coaster of some sort. They were the hit thing back then. I remember Opryland in Nashville, TN had an Arrow coaster of some sort. Wished i had rode it, but back then i was scared of upside down stuff..now, i'll ride Anything! lol The Myrtle Beach Pavilion had a Corkscrew that had 1 big drop & 2 loops, and that was the ride, VERY short ride! Fun, but short. I miss the Pavilion AND CorkScrew they had..Hurricane sucked.

I went there for my 7th birthday back in the 90's. The corkscrew was one of my top two favorite rides that I went on more than once. It was even better at night right before the lazer show. The Iron Dragon was my other favorite. I hope to take my son when he turns 7 in 2 years.

Most of you need to understand and appreciate the time line of these roller coasters. The cork screw is a little short 1:30 but I still enjoy it nevertheless. Obviously the raptor and mantis make the corkscrew look like a kiddie ride. Still a nice sight over the midway. Probably the only coaster I wouldn't waste my time and wait is the mine ride(unless I happen to be near it and there is no line) and the Jr coasters.

I was freaked out of roller coasters too but here is a tip. Go on the biggest and scariest ride in the park and then go on the rest. This will guarantee you that youll have fun.

PS Have you ever been to kings island. If not, i suggest that you ride firehawk, son of the beast, vortex, and pretty much every ride in the park.

PPSS look up firehawk on youtube. On that ride you dangle off your seat and it feels like youre flying. By far it is the best ride in kings island
