Don't think they changed in all the time they have been going. Pete Lucas on bass, I see! Last time I saw them was for Tich's 60th (of Dave Dee and Co) in the conference suite at Salisbury Cattle Market. Get well soon, Reg - you've done your bit. "In all THEIR glory!" Chris used to have guitar lessons from David Daker, behind Salisbury Bus Station.
Great performance! And today`s bands play it too. Look at youtube "Jeopards-Wild Thing, live in Ahrensburg, Germany and "Jeopards"(live in Ahrensburg, Germany 30.05.09) how local guitarplayer Andre Sobo from unknown band "Jeopards" sings this song and playes solo and 16-19 years old audience likes it so much and this is in 2010!!! But this song was written 40 years ago and it is still groovy!
Bought this record when it first came out (do you know what a record is/was?) 45rpm ...still listen to it now - still a classic - brilliant performance
Too true, i met these guys after this show, and they were some really nice guys. shortly after, i was beaten up and mugged by members of that crowd haha! good old basildon..... xx
@cassidy323 just see your coment on you tube about the troggs and the lame crowd.. i only ever filmed this for home viewing as no you tube at the time of recording. and that day of the free show in basildon it was pouring of rain and so wet we thought the show may have been call off. so thats why the crowd were looking thin on the ground . rain rain and more rain shame as a good day spoilt. Dave
It's always out of tune! It seems that every time he goes down to the A - it's sharp.
Please don't give me a minus - I LOVE Reg and the Troggs - I saw them at Sunderland Empire in 1969 supporting Sandie Shaw - saw them at West Kensington Nashville in 1980 and I saw them at Oxford St 100 Club in 2001 - brilliant every time.
