  • not bad =]

  • ayyeeeeeeeeeeeeeee wit a fantastic tune by the way big man

  • ekwe84 you say we are british and north-ireland has to be part of ireland? Canadians live in North America but do they call themsleves American? The Portuguese live on the Spanish pennisula but they certainly don't call themselves Spanish.

Do you call yourself Spanish given that the Netherlands were once controlled by Spain?

  • ekwe84, as a Dutch Protestant you will have no difficulty in understanding the invasion of the promised land to Israel as an act of true christianity. This scenario you present of N Ireland is incorrect but if it were true the scenario I present does not make it unchristian. I doubt you are much of a Protestant in reality. Have you even heard of Herman Hoeksema?

  • well played lads ill see yous in banbridge on friday nite. FGAU.

  • I'm Protestant, but from Holland. I don't understand why you celebrate this. Because in my opinion you are british and north-ireland has to be part of ireland. You came later invade ireland and then say 'we are the boss'. Its a provocation in my eyes and not really an act of christianity!

And orange is our colour (Holland), not yours;)

But when i see this completely wrong I like to hear your opinions.

  • We celebrate the 12th because it is our history and culture. Yes, many people in Northern Ireland class themselves as British as Ireland is in the British Isles. The 'Republic' of Ireland was created through violent rebellion under 100 years ago. People in Northern Ireland didn't want a Republic so thats why we are not in one! Surely that is very simple to understand? You should visit our wee country to see the colourful 12th of July celebrations and bring your family! (Largest festivals in EU)

  • i think you miss the point my friend, william of orange is a symbol to us he is a symbol of freedom and freedom is something we cherish more than anything. you see northern ireland is our home we did not invade it its where we were born and where our great grand fathers fought for in the 2 world wars (as well as for holland when you were invaded)

  • the republic of ireland is catholic state where protestants are persecuted and treated as second class citizens. we wish to remain british because for centuries the people in the north east corner of ireland (northern ireland) have been different. we have a different culture, music history, economy and way of life and by staying british we are securing our freedom. you should be so proud being from holland and giving the world william of orange

  • wise up you buck eejit, ulster is british and always will be, they have tried for 100s of years but still we are undefeated, anyway the roi doesnt want the trouble ulster would bring,,,no surrender fae scotland

  • @ekwe84 Britain has been in Ireland since the 1100ad, thats longer than you have been Dutch. Spain controlled Holland for a long time so that means you are Spanish, right? Or what about French? King William and the Orange families came from the South of France. So that means you are French right?

There is a simple answer to your question that doesn't involve colours. it is called democracy. The MAJORITY of people living in Northern Ireland wish to remain British......FACT.

  • @ekwe84 my opinion m8
