Precious,my female Betta

wow she's beautiful i want a female like that i have two males paris and ace and they really get nasty when i do water change and they have to see each other temporarily but they have lived for a while now so i'm not worried.

He's very pretty, what long fins! none on my females have fins that long. Sigh... ps that is definately a female... not an 'overfed" male! lololol....

hey, that's funny i named my betta Precious too! but she wasn't as beautiful as yours, she was just a veiltail. she died two weeks after her babies were born :'(

Toverlolly, Im sorry to hear you lost your betta. they are "precious" arnt they? you should stop by the FishLore site, and forum. Its filled with great folks who are there all the time to help. How are they babies doing?

aww, thank you for your compassion, and for recommending the site, it's great. the babies aren't really doing well, there are only 21 of them and they are growing not as quick as other babies I've had...but they're still sweet, I love them ;)

Precious looks like she's doing great! What a wonderful tank for her! If only everyone on YouTube took such great care of their Bettas and gave them proper sized tanks! And for those who think filters and airstones "stress" Bettas... look how much she's enjoying playing with her bubbles. Mine loves their airstones too.

Thank you Phloxface, she is doing great. I have newer photos of her on the forum and she has grown alot and her fins are very long. She has a roomie now in a divided tank, another female. They are both very happy and doing great. :-)

are u sure thats not a male betta well then again i cant tell if in not actually there either way it is still a beautiful fish i have a female blue small but i overfed her so she got real fat so now im calling jenny craig lol

Betta's are very difficult to breed, I would not recommand a community tank. I have not bred them, I will leave that to the experts!

I have another question; Can a female betta build a bubble-nest? Mine is and i'm starting to think "she" may be a "he"

its probably a young male with short fins , add another male and see how it reacts to find out its gender
