Okay I'd just like to clear this up: Black Rock Shooter is from an anime but yes she was based on vocaloid and Miku sings a song that appears in the anime...Miku is not BRS!! And BRS is NOT a vocaloid

@eyeliner001 What are you talking about? Miku's voice IS from a real girl. The creators of vocaloid pretty much recorded her saying separate sounds like "ah" and "ru" and put them in the program so that people could make real words using the fragments.

that's miku's voice with the Black Rock Shooter pic so it is miku singing, but the girl in pic is Black Rock Shooter, who is a vocaloid. I even played Miku's World is Mine and the two sound the exact same. Sorry ^^;

Black Rock Shooter was a song, sung by a Vocaloid, Miku. It was about a character who'd name became known as Black Rock Shooter. The song was very popular, and now an anime is being created around the song/character.
