  • Nice to hear you use the classic theme!

  • Finally another person who plays the DW theme the old time proper way! ;)

  • Nice demo. I like it!

Visit my channel for tracks made with the JX-10 + other vintage analogs synths!!!

  • This is what Dr. Who's theme should have sounded like!

  • nice take on the Dr Who theme!!!

  • Brilliant!

  • WONDERFUL !!

  • very great synth, rolands last analog.. only the midi truely sucks

  • ho0o0 i have one of those but i dont know how it works XD

  • Great demo...

  • nice demo! To the poster > Are these patches using layers or just single (ala JX-8P) style tones? Especially the main bassy riff sound (that plays from the start) sounds good.

  • WARNING Dr. Exterminate!!!, jump into your JX10 tardis!

    Nice tune, destroys Daleks too!!!

  • There's some sounds similar to the Dominic Glyn (Colin Baker) theme but this is too laid back for Colin's Doctor. Put it on Whomix site, if you haven't already!

  • You should make this into a full-length song!

  • Doctor who!!! Great sounds!

  • i got thAT BUT WITOUT PG 800 IS HARD TO CONTROLL

  • 5 *

    nice!

  • i love these kind of sounds thnx for sharing

  • bravo!

  • There is a dude that is trying to sell one o' these for 750EUR second hand,is that a realistic price for this?

  • @HarpoonSlazenger I think that $400 U.S. DLLS. or $450 U.S.DLLS is a fair price, but if the PG-800 controller is included then I would pay $800 or $900 maybe $1000 U.S. DLLS.

  • @ANDRES77

    Cheers man!

  • nice demo , on the jx you get a lot to play with 24 oscillators ,4 envs , one would better look out for the mks70 as i did as you can program any sysex capable hardware controller (kenton etc) to control it even more than a pg800 is capable of ,

no such luck on the jx10 without rom mod.

  • The only synthesizer I terribly regret selling...

What a WIDE sound it had. It can bring you to tears.

  • i like the song too!

  • ....can you do filtering on a sequence in real time? Or can you record it?

  • You dont hear modern synths sound as good as these old classics.

  • v nice.

BBC should pay you to use this in the current Dr Who!

  • @neolojism It's better than the current news theme-like histrionic nonsense.

  • Nice "Dr Who theme" interpretation ! Great sounding machine.

  • amazing sounds, i own a jx8p but might upgrade one day to a jx10

    please post more!!

  • Excellent track !

  • with pg 800 programmer super jx become very good and easy

  • Lovely, well concieved, good and varied selection of sounds, and some nice real music instead of pointless noodling. Keep up the good work!

  • I just started using one, there has been some criticism of them, it has more of a depeche mode sound than a rock synth sound. Also the sequencer is really horrible, I use an outboard sequencer.

  • That sounds absolutely lovely

  • One of the most useful synth ever produced...by my opinion...I have two MKS-70...

  • Nice job! I used to have one of these.. loved it. Damn.... why did I sell it... never sell old Rolands!

  • Yep its fun and frustrating programming the JX which I enjoy and hate. I loved the patches you have created here.
