@MGoose66 mate, it is basic laws of physics. if a player is running full tilt and makes a flat pass at the 22m line it is naturally going to end up in the hands of a player over that 22m line because of momentum created by the players running velocity. that doesn't make it a forward pass. you'll see it happen in every game of league or union, and this video is a classic example of it. LAWS OF PHYSICS

@centrallife2008. There is no such Law in Physics, not that that is relevent. What is relevant is Law 12 and more importantly, how the referees are instructed to interpret it. It would have been perfectly reasonable for this referee to pull this play back under the law, but, just as with the RWC FRA vs NZL SF, accept the ref's call and move on. It seems clear you are not a referee and have not read the laws. Do not compare Rugby with League. Both the rules (vs Laws) and interpretations differ.
