Actually I don't understand all the disrespectful people who has to write stupid comments about everything! There's a big group of people, who finds public transportation-solutions interesting and like to watch these kind of clips. I myself find 22 grown up retards who chases a ball on a grass field completely meaningless, but do you know what I do? I DON'T WATCH THE DAMN CRAP AND KEEP MY MOUTH SHUT! Well, besides now of course, so let them who find this interesting watch this ALONE!
I think it was really nice to watch this video. Suddenly I notice that quite many things have changed during these fifteen years, like the livery of Gothenburg trams and buses or how the front displays look like - not to mention that all of those newer trams nowadays have been extended with a low-floor section in the middle, etc. Also many details on the streets and the buildings. Thanks for uploading! :)
"check your history - and what 'National City Lines' (NCL) did in many US towns and cities.
The point is, you DID have comparable systems, but were bought up with the aim of closing them and making people use diesel buses. NCL were owned by bus building and oil companies.
Eventually NCL were prosecuted in a court of law, but by then the damage had been done."
This is some point! you should write some text on video or something, not only show images!
@citytransportinfo Well, make a video without a point is the same to make a cake without be hungry! the video is useless, maybe next time you should do something more informative like prises between cities of what we can visit in Göteborg in case of turism. You just show transport... O_O
filming the trams was the reason for that visit to your city. Then in August 1995 I finished my video looking at over 10 types of transport, air pollution, traffic congestion etc.
Now I have a 30+ page website on the same topic - the url is the same as my youtube user name, but add a dot before the 'info' - citytransport.info
Wow I love how even some of the most unheard of cities in Europe have such wonderful rail systems. It's something that here in the United States we unfortunately do not have.

@bluewolfer I understand that you might have not heard about our city before, but Gothenburg is actually Sweden's second biggest city and also the home and birthplace of Volvo, the car. And indeed a city of trams, as you have noticed! Welcome! Välkommen! :)
X200's in... 1995? Did they exist back then?
BTW: Ultra nostalgia flashback at those old livery RC's
