Its an awesome game alright. I gave it a try and I am impressed. I played this fighter more than any other fighter I have this year. People really should give it a try. As for the challenges dude is right about the difficulty. I take parts of the combos and use them to come up with more manageable combos. There is a lot of freedom in this game.

i've got tekken and blazblue, im decent at blazblue but i will not be modest in saying i kick ass in tekken.
i sold streetfigter, it just wasn't my style, but i think this may be my next choice when i buy another fighting game. blazblue has some pretty hard to master combos but it's still tight and responsive and i wanted to ask if king of fighters 13 is just as easy to get into for someone who is only ok at 2d fighters like BB
@gijokef well KoF is very unique in gameplay style, but if you enjoy fast paced fighters with big combos like BB then its right up your alleyway. It's very tight and responsive, so my personal opinon is that it's worth the $50

You're absolutely correct, this game is a must buy. I'm kicking myself for not trying the demo nor buying the game sooner! I definitely deserve a Power Wave for that. I decided to customize my fightstick and give it a new look while waiting for the game to arrive. So SNK and KOFXIII.... Ret's Go!
@htaste hahahah thats mad funny, which system did you get it for? I kind of wish I picked it up for PS3, I only it got it for 360 because I have my fight stick for that system, but since I play KoF much better with a pad I could've gotten it either way.
@TeamRivalLive I got it for 360, simply because I don't have a PS3. I've planned to buy PS3 by the time Dragon's Crown gets released as I'm hyped as a nutter for that game, CAN'T WAIT! *drool*. Anyway, I just noticed that Hinako Shijo is on the background on one of the levels in KOFXIII! I'm so glad to see her, I would definitely want her to be actually playable. And I have to say the game looks gorgeous, I'm so happy SNK still go the 2D sprite route with the KOF.
All the games my ass, they should've at least put something from Maximum Impact into the soundtrack hehe. But man from what I've played, it's like porn where there are some women who aren't as effin hot as the ones you like, but you're willing to watch her perform anal or fuck her. 13 is kinda like that to me. I mean it's a great game, but I'm pissed off at times w/ how precise the challenges are and how they fucked up Iori. The DLC part also pisses me off. Awesome yer watching Silent Mobius!

Ive had a great christmas, nice time with mates, and some nice anime as well. I got Paprika and Redline on Blu ray, watch both back to back on xmas day, awesome films. I also got the complete series Blu rays for Baccano and Samurai Champloo, can't wait to start 'em.
I also got the out of print Evangelion tin, gonna marathon this soon, can't wait to see it :)

@VideoGameStupid yeah it's the more classic style Kyo, which I enjoy way much more than the new Kyo. You need the aragami punches, and he's got that plus everything you'd want. I kind of hate that they made DLC characters, but theyre actually worth getting. The problem with Terry and some characters is that their movesets aren't really suited to this game. Terry is completely average, which sucks because in prior games hes been one of my best. I'm sure you can still rip with him

@wappahawlic look up how to do"picture-in-picture" its very simple and pretty much involves cropping 1 video so it fits however you want it to on top of the other video. at least thats how I've done it

Its an awesome game alright. I gave it a try and I am impressed. I played this fighter more than any other fighter I have this year. People really should give it a try. i've got tekken and blazblue, im decent at blazblue but i will not be modest in saying i kick ass in tekken.
i sold streetfigter, it just wasn't my style, but i think this may be my next choice when i buy another fighting game. blazblue has some pretty hard to master combos but it's still tight and responsive and i wanted to ask if king of fighters 13 is just as easy to get into for someone who is only ok at 2d fighters like BB
