Hey Dustin I live just south of you in Crestview FL, and just ordered the LE. Any chance I could make a motorcycle trip up you way this spring to take a look at your plane? Ive been looking at these aircraft for a about a year now and would love to see the finished product and maybe get a few pointers on how it flies.
@mrnitsudls1 Hi, I'm sending a cashiers check off the first week in Aug for a XL. I have built a KR-2 and a Minimax and will now build an XL. I was wondering if I could come out and visit as well? I live in Fort Walton Beach Fl.
@kfox66 Sure thing. Send me an email at nitsudls1@yahoo.com. My cousin has a LE project in the hanger as well. By the way there are a number of changes that we made to the airplane. It has a pushrod elevator controle linkage(vs. cable), the alerons are push/pull cables, the dash cross tube was raised about 2 inches(if i remember right), and the landing gear has a little bit heavier tubing. Other than that, it's pretty close to stock.
