@jacklumbercore Thanx jack,,,,as for the using it with a mac,,,I'm not sure,,but I wouldn't doubt that some Apple-head will figure out a way to make it work.

hello halfbree , i want to ask u , what about if after i saved the location and 8 arrows desplayed at once if i switche it off , then when i want to get back i switched it on DL , will it work ? or i must switched to DL straight on after i save the location ?

Carry a portable charger with you. When you feel the battery is getting low, click the button to mark the spot you are at, push in the mini USB end of your charger; then see if you can use it while charging, if not, just grab something to eat while the unit recharges, then disconnect, regain connection to satelite, continue on your vacation trek.

Thought I would update, this unit is VERY sensitive and perfect, put it just about anywhere and works! (e.g shirt pocket)

Very pleased.

I have my "Easy Showily" from Wintec stolen, which is a shame, as I really liked its simplicity. (no driver or software required to run)

But thisTravel Honey is Very good.

I have just ordered this GPS and was wondering what sort of sensitivity it has. i.e. can you put it in your shirt pocket? and is position important? (vertical/ horizontal?)

I would be using this mostly for goe-tagging photos.

I just set it in the cup holder and drive. I wouldn't put it under multiple layers of metal, but other than that, you should be fine. The unit is so small, that I don't think it really matters if it's upside down or whatever (assuming you are just using it to track your trip).

hey i need alittle help. i just bought one of these little guys off ebay, and i need to know how to pull the info from it when i hook it up to my comp and what program i should use for it so i can use the DL feature.

i'm asking because the directions that it comes with are just a print out that do not say very much.

Have you been able to determine how long the thing can run on a full charge?

Also where and for how much can you get an extra battery?

12 hours on a full charge battery (at least that's what the instructions say).

As for the replacement batteries; I just sent the manufacturer an e-mail. I'll let you know what they say.

Hey I bought one of these. The Data Logger seems unreliable. Sometime creates a log file, sometimes not (even with flashing green light). Also when I set a position with the Location Finder, it hardly ever point in the right direction. Do you have problems with yours?

Mine seems to be working fine, but then again, I only use it to map my drives; I very rarely need to "use it" to find my way back.
